The BBC reckons 'it is the draw neither English club would have wanted'. Rubbish! Liverpool might not have wanted Chelsea, but I bet Jose wanted Liverpool.

I let out a very audible Yes! when the suits at UEFA finally announced the inevitable. Bring them on!

We're Playing 'em at Anfield, twice in 4 days!

CL 28th Sept, PL 2nd Oct.

A real chance to show our complete and utter superiority. We're gonna pull their pants down!

i really do want revenge and good revenge 2 i want them 2 b knocked out, agreed we have the hardest group but to me we have the strongest team, i wanna batter liverpool both times in CL and in the prem and send em home, there goal that wasnt put us out last year, this year that alone and the fact they beat us in last yrs semi by it, wil be enough for us to run riot on there whole team.f**k gerrard, they should be worried, i no for a fact terry, lamps, and actually all our big players will want another crack at these inbred scousers!

blame the FA. this is UEFA punishing the FA (EPL) for not booting out Everton.

that said it will be fun to beat up on liverpool. you don't beat someone by 37 points with luck.

this draw should vindicate the summer splurge to round out the squad.

my favorite part is how Airline FC and Real got easy draws, but still won't advance to the end. defense first.

I did the same as you webbie when the inevitable happened. I desperately wanted Liverpool in our group along with 2 other quality sides. That is because I know our Special One will be able to concoct victory against whomsoever we draw, but it also means Liverpool have no chance of qualifying for the second stage. Fantastic! I predict Chelsea and Betis will progress.

I really think that that was the best draw we could have hoped for; Liverpool, Arsenal and possibly Inter were the weakest top seeds, IMHO.
Also, I liked Kenyon's comments on the official website here; being respectful, which is a nice change from his usual slimy, smug self.

I can not believe it...

I too was hoping and waiting for a chance to set the record straight with the losers...

I just can not wait for these matches...

Beautiful...There really is a God!!!!!

Finally we put this sore feeling to rest....

Come On Chelsea...

I can not wait to see gerrard turn blue with envy definately....Not worthy to wear the Chelsea Uniform with his immature antics.

I too want sweet, sweet revenge. And the goal Liverpool scored to knock us out didn't even cross the goal line! I was furious! But now we can get revenge. With all the top quality players, we are so gonna' kick their can. Frank Lampard will be Man of the Match.
