Chelsea have dominated the nominations for the Professional Footballers' Association Players' Player of the Year with three players selected.
John Terry, Petr Cech and Frank Lampard have all been shortlisted for the award.
They are joined by last year's winner, Arsenal striker Thierry Henry, Crystal Palace striker Andrew Johnson and Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard.
The winner will be announced at the PFA awards dinner on Sunday 24 April.
For the Young Players' Award last season's winner Scott Parker is ineligible meaning a new name will be on the trophy.
Again Chelsea are represented and have the favourite for the award in the shape of Arjen Robben.
Manchester City's Shaun-Wright Phillips is also in contention, as is Stewart Downing of Middlesbrough.
Manchester United duo Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, and Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe make up the list.

My Vote would go to Lampard…Why?
Consistent at the highest level – Henry has failed at this billing.
Class unquestioned – Terry is reliable but not classy.
Good Vision and passer of the ball – Gerrard always seems to have a blip once in a while in this area.
Cracker of a shot – Well Henry and Gerrard do match but how well this boy does his.
Finally Lucky – an ingredient required to take the PFA.
Joy of joys – Henry and Campbell could be injured for the Chelsea game – now I like to play the best, but just this time it would be nice to have an advantage over Airline, and Henry is the main source of their goals. All we need now is for Lundberg to trip and do his ankle in and that’d be perfect. GJ

As much as Frank Lampard deserves the award – as does Petr Cech, who’s earned us more points than it first appears – I would give it to John Terry. He’s been outstanding this season – as he was last – and would put his life on the line for Chelsea. Rarely do defenders receive the award because of the number of ‘flair’ players nominated – but it couldn’t go to a more deserving individual.
If Chelsea players don’t finish in the top three places, there’s something wrong! ;-) What has Henry proved this year – apart from his continuing ability to not play against the better teams and in the ‘bigger’ matches?
Andrew Johnson’s been okay, but is inconsistent and couldn’t hit a barn door at the moment.
Gerrard has also been inconsistent this season and gone missing in a few matches. The pressure of carrying Liverpool obviously takes it toll on occasions. But he’ll be playing in a far better team next season and can have the award then! ;-)
What has Henry proved this year? How about continuing to be top scorer and top of the assist chart. Scored two versus the current leagueleaders also if I remember correctly.
You should look at Henrys goalaverage vs Chelsea/Pool/United since he came to Arsenal and his average vs the rest. I think you’ll find the two numbers to be quite similar.
Cech, Johnsen or Gerrard winning it would be a joke. Terry and Lampard are both worthy winers.
