Huth's Boro move hits late problems

Wednesday, 12 July 06, 09:12 AM · Comments (6)

Robert Huth's move to Boro has hit a last-minute snag, according to several reports in the media this morning. The German international returned from his home country at the weekend and has spent two days at the Riverside undergoing a medical, but despite agreeing a fee and personal terms before the World Cup it seems that the deal could now fall through. Neither club has made any comment on the situation.

Looks like Billy Gallas may be staying - indications are that he will sign a new contract - best signing of the summer??

I'd prefer Huth to stay too to be honest. An extra world-class defender never does any harm.

Portsmouth could still take him off our hands, Billy.
