Tuesday, 30 August 05, 06:35 PM · Comments (1)

John Terry will miss England's two World Cup qualifiers against Wales and Northern Ireland due to a knee injury.

According to Sven-Goran Eriksson, Chelsea's captain will be out for at least four weeks meaning he's likely to miss a number of Premiership games and the opening Champions League fixture against Anderlecht.

i am upset that a friendly has injured terry. although i feel a friendly should be taken as seriously as possible i think players should be less agressive.this also means bad news for chelsea as he is one of their key players.but i have to admit i enjoy watching frank lampard as captain.i think terry is an amazing player and has all the qualities a captain should have but to captain england it would have to be lampard
