Even though it's not the accepted practise among Blues fans, I still don't rate Huth as good enough to play regularly in our defence. He might have time on his hands - that old cliche - but for me he lacks that little something needed to play for a team of our quality. He's just prone to one mistake too many.
Bayern Munich saw his shortcomings after seeing him play right-back against them last season; prior to that game they wanted to buy him, afterwards they didn't!

Another important point - UEFA change its rules to force teams use they homegrown players: in 2005/2006 eurocups each team must have 2 players who came thru club academy, in 2007/2008 they must have four. At this moment we only have Huth and JT in our first team.
