With the new season approaching at speed. It appears that magic Jaunde is being forced into a complete overhaul of the team. Not such a bad thing i hear most of you saying, and yes mostly you would be right, yet to have our hand forced is painful, and to make our rivals stronger at our expense pains me more. But us spurs fans are used to making the best from a bad situation. Heads held high even in defeat.
So ok, another new dawn at the lane. I hope that the board can at last bring us a steady ship, with a long term plan rather than a short term fix. Our new General Ramos should be given a 5 or 6 year target of success. To expect any more is surely naive. If we are now to buy a whole new front line, are we really going to lure a world class proven striker to come play in the uefa cup. I think we will struggle, so i see the general signing a relatively unknown quantity, a young striker that he can mold into his own way of thinking. I can see the average age of our squad being similiar to that of the gooners. And like the scum we cannot expect to find immediate success. We will need another few years to get to the level we were at 2 seasons ago. And then we shall be in pole position to try and crack that elite at the top of our procession that we call a league.
Had we been able to keep the likes of Keano and Berbs, then cracking that elite would have been, in my view, a formality. Such a shame to be on the brink of success, on the verge of something special maybe even great. To again find that, once again you are not quite there. But its not all doom and gloom at white hart lane this season. It is what it is, a fresh start. a whole new beginning. With the backing of the board this could indeed still be the start of something special, possibly, hopefully greater perhaps than it could have been had our striking partnership not flown the nest. So shine on son, but have patience. For the future is bright, the future is lilly white.
Coys!!

Please Sir, Mr Levy.
Please sell Berba to Barca, we cant keep making our so called rivals stronger. We the faithful would be happy to see him go anywhere but another team in the premiership. Even if it meant cutting his price tag dramatically. I would rather Berbs was to rot in the reserves than play for the manks. Make him play till at least January, if by then we are not challenging then he can go where he likes, but only in europe, he claims he had the chance to play for manure when we signed him. Yet he chose, he claims, to come to us. This is the choice he made, yet after his 1st season he wanted to leave us for the team he allegedly turned down just 12 months earlier. says a lot about the man i think!
Same goes for Robbie, make him stay till Jan, same scenario, if we are not in the hunt for trophy`s then let him go. Our rivals know and understand that the spurs are on the up, and are doing everything in thier power to de-stabilise us. I would`nt even be suprised if liverpool dont even make a bid for Keano, remember not so long ago them trying to lure Defoe to anfield yet no bid was recieved.
I am right behind Mr Levy and Gen Ramos, the clubs position has been made clear and the complaints to the FA as to the conduct of the scouse and the mancs is long overdue. But we all know the FA have no balls when it comes to the top four, Yet remember poor old luton, and how the FA have treated them, as if they would dare take sanctions against any of the big teams, laughable no!
