Why Barca will STILL rule in Spain

I couldn't stop laughing at Cristiano Ronaldo's comments about how Perez's acquisitions now made La Liga the best league in the world! I also am astounded at how many people are expecting this new batch of Galacticos to destroy all before them next season and replace Barcelona as Kings of Spain and Europe.
It truly is amazing how quickly people have forgotten the beautiful style in which Barca romped to the Spanish title and how they passed Man Utd off the pitch in Rome. Guardiola, in the space of one season, has built marvellously on the success of Rijkaard, and built one of the great sides of modern football. Barca are a team- that is the key. They work tirelessly off the ball and play with incredible tactical discipline. In Iniesta and Xaxi they have the best midfield pairing Europe has seen in the lest decade and in Eto'o they have a good a finisher as any in the world. Add to that the speed, creativity, flair and skill Messi and Henry bring to the game and it becomes rather spectacular! Their defence is often criticised for its lack of strength and concentration but as they showed against both Chelsea and United in the UCL last season, they can bring the tough game when it matters.
Comparatively, Real Madrid can match and possibly beat Barca for star quality and skilful players but it is Barcas tactical brilliance and team ethos that will keep them above Real all of this season. No doubt Real will be great to watch going forward but it remains to be seen if the purchase of Albiol will do anything to improve a farcical backline. Pellegrini has shown at Villarreal that he can get team to play together but one must wonder if he has the man management skills to control the BIG egos in the locker room, and if he can handle the pressure that comes with being at the helm of a massive club, with massive expectation. Something he did not face at the Yellow Submarine.
The fact that Real have spent bigger than ever before this summer only increases that pressure.
If the likes of Gago, L Diarra and Guti build a good platform for the stars ahead of them Real will be a decent side again. Whether Ronaldo, Kaka, Robben and Benzema can forge a good attacking unit is a doubt considering Robben’s selfishness and Ronaldo clearly making his main focus individual glory and fame. Real will depend heavily on Kaka this term, more so than many seem to think and if he does not perform at his maximum level consistently, they will really struggle.
All in all, Barca are still the better team despite Perez's efforts and unless some major catastrophe hits the Nou Camp, Barca will once again reign supreme!

i rate iniesta much higher than kaka. Yaya Toure, while not as skilled, is a much more "physically talented" player than Lass. Messi is better than Ronaldo. robben is probably better than henry, however not by much AND it still remains to be seen if henry will be in the starting xi next year. Xavi is the best passer in the world and there is no player, NOT kaka, robben, ronaldo, gago, guti, or anyone else on madrid who can match him in that area. Same with Iniesta, though he is not quite at Xavi's caliber. Eto'o or Villa, our striker will be better than benzema. Also, how can ANYONE criticize Barca'a defence???? Look at their goal differenc and me they didn't have a superb back line. Alves-best right back-->Puyol-BEST DEFENDER PERIOD--> Pique Outstanding young player, EASILY in the top 5 or 10 best in the world--> Abidal- Great at times, yet fairly inconsistent. Still would be easily in the top 20, however it is not clear whether he will be replaced or not.
Now, explain again how Real Madrid will be the team to beat?
As a madridista, I agree that Barca is a better overall team. They know each other, they play well, and can only get better...scary. I think the biggest challenge for Madrid this season will be how they will come together as a TEAM. Individually we know they have great players but they can only be successful playing as a team. I think like you mentioned we still need to help the defense because as good or bad as we played last season the defense is what struggled using the liverpool and barca games as examples. i think there are quality players out there to bolster the defense its just a matter of who they bring. it will be a great La Liga this year...best league in the world. HALA MADRID!!!
I agree barc are prob better seated to retain their titles I dont understand the mentality of people who think that great players make great teams taking for example the english national team who havent won a world cup since the 60s for decades some of the best players around have played for these teams but they have consistently been knocked out
real madrid are in for a rude awakening i think as they get out their i think they are going to have to feed CRs ego furthermore i am willing to go so far as to say that ronaldo will not be so great moving forward i think he is far to full of himself and i can see that becoming a problem for him and his team mates in the near future MANCHESTER was lucky to be rid of him when they did on the up side though kaka will be a strong force in real his dedication and selfless play could be the catalyst needed to unite the egos
only time will tell who can go the distance but if i were a betting man i wouldnt be laying money on real

Iniesta better than kaka ? Is this a joke ? And in form kaka can easily claim the top spot in the world ranking. The only thing iniesta does better than him is dribbling in tight spaces but kaka beats him at everything else , speed , shots , passing you name it ! As for ronaldo yes he does have an ego but name me one single team mate of his who has ever complained about his play don't let your hate cloud your judgement ronaldo works his butt off on the pitch and will get better at it every yea r as he is only 24 robben tho you were spot on about him he is selfish but he is on his way out with ribery , cazorla and silva as his possble replacement and xavi ( who I think is the most complete CM in the world ) is by no means the best passer in the world , guti might be very inconsistant but he passes the ball way better than xavi does when he is on , pirlo passes the ball better than him as does xabi alonso
As for your defense individuallly they're not that good , puyol is getting past it , pique is not world class , alves lol is he even a defender ? Abidal is solid but there are better left backs out there
Anyways i m willing to bet my house that barcelona will struggle next season , why ? Because they won't survive the copa , la liga , Cl , super cup , european super cups and injuries will be their downfall and whether you gents can be unbias enough to see or not real madrid are only a creative CM who can also defend ( xabi alonso ) and a left back away from dominating spain again and possibly europe
