Barça have nine consecutive wins after this latest 0-2 away victory against Recreativo. So far so good, eh? So, let's talk about something else, like Barça in the USA via the MLS. Yeah, I know it likely bores a lot of people to hear that FCB is making a serious bid to own a MLS franchise in Miami with the Bolivian business magnate, Marcelo Claure. But, if you're American and you like football (or as we in the US like to use the old Brit nickname, soccer), this is very interesting news.
Seriously, it's big news here. If FC Barcelona gets approval from the MLS commission I sense it will have a large impact on the game here, and in new directions as well. For one, the Latino factor of the USA will finally have a very respected and established focal point. That's not to say that Chivas USA hasn't been that for many Hispanics...
