After such a disastrous start to the final, I thought we showed great resolve and terrific spirit to come back and win.  Everton were poor in comparison, the early goal flattered them. kept them interested but there was only one team really playing, CHELSEA.

Florent Malouda came of age and proved that with a bit of faith of the manager our players are full of class. Didier and Frank will be legends of this club forever.  Drogba now has 5 goals in 5 Domestic Finals.  What a record.  A man for the occasion.  His goals in the qurters, semis and final can only be matched by another ex Chelsea player Mark Hughes albeit for the Manure.

Our form under Guus has been formidable.  He has solidified our defence and has reinvigorated the player's goals for the future.  We have won the Cup and hence continued to add to the trophy cabinet which was looking rather bare over the past 2 seasons.

Hopefully the signings of Zhirkov, Ribery, Kaka and Ancelotti are imminent. A few bright young stars like Dzeko would be a bonus.

I am absolutely so happy today.  I've been waiting years to saviour such a moment and it has finally arrived...thrashing Liverpool at home in a European Cup match.

Encouraging the BRAZILLIAN style is all well and good. Beautiful triangles and nice neat short passes are attractive. BUT what we want are results Mr. Scolari.

If you undermine your own tactics by changing formation at half time then surely the players will lose confidence.  3-0 is an anihilation. Your substitutions this season have been poor...they do not change the game and often are made to show that something is been done.

Your guess is as good as mine.  Basically I believe that we need to kill the opposition off. After taking the lead Chelsea keep relaxing instead of going for the kill.  The game opens up as the opposition do become more offensive so it should be easier for us to pick off the opposition but we seem to be content with being a goal up which ends up 1-1 0r 2-2 with late goals conceded.

Scolari has no idea about defence but has clearly improved our offence.  Deco's reverse pass is exceptional but his lack of effort in D is concerning.  Anelka was in top form so why was he sacrificed once Drogba was fit? Drogba is a favourite of mine but the team comes b4 the individual.

JT needs to be shot...Red Cards in unnecessary areas are a no no.  3 games off...2 draws and a win. Frank is playing well and Bosingwa has proved a gr8 buy.  Obi Mikel has come of age.  Ashley Cole has been disappointing. Basically the whole left side needs a rev up.  Thank God Carvalho is back.  Alex and Ivanovich need direction. Seems like they cannot play without a good sweeper behind them.  Their tacke always gives away free kicks. Learn from Carvalho....his pants are always dirty.

2 months ago I'd say definitely.  Now that Manure are potentially on the same point count as us it is going to be tough.  Forget Liverpool...they are shite.

I miss Essien...come on boy get over that injury....we need your engine in midfield.

Seems like these breaks are disrupting league form. Very often teams seem to be coming into form and the IB disrupts progress. Injuries and just jet lag seem to be very common.

Am I in favour of these breaks? Honestly I believe they are gr8 cos 2 International matches are planned and played. Previously the breaks would only have 1 game.  However, I find that teams with players from very far off countries are at a disadvantage.  What is good though is that players are making themselves available to play for their countries which means I can go and watch RYAN NELSON again.

I find this period boring as not much football takes place and that very few games are covered on TV.  Guess I should give the wife a hand with the washing.

Are English teams that dominant?

The millions,no billions, spent on foreign stars is definitely paying off. I watched Man Unitd versus Aalborg and Arsenal versus Porto.  The gulf in class was so great that you'd think that the English teams were in the premiership and the european teams were in the championship.

I've had respect for the top Spanish and Italian teams but they seem to have lost their way.  Real Madrid struggled to contain a free flowing Zenit St Petersburg. Two lucky goals and some lucky richochets in defence saved them. Juventus played little known Bate Borisov and were caught being complacent.

I'm looking forward to seeing my Chelsea play tonight.  I hate Liverpool but suspect they will deal to PSV.  Hope I'm wrong.  Come on Europe show the English that you too can play.

What a player!!! People tend to give he plaudits to John Terry and Peter Cech.  Yesterday's performance against Manchester City was just BRILLIANT. Our unsung hero.

Many pick out the Lampards and Drogbas as the heroes of Chelsea. The goal scorers are applauded and given the accolades yet the likes of Ricardo are taken for granted.  He is one of very few defenders in the EPL that is not shy to get his pants dirty. Some of the tackles he made yesterday were beyond belief.  He literally puts his body on the line for Chelsea.

What a pleasure to see a performance where the team is the most important and not the individual. You are my hero RICARDO CARVALHO.  The goal was just a bonus.

As Roma, Bordeaux, CFR Cluj and Chelsea.

Just does not sound too daunting a group. But, have to be careful.  The french team are up and comers. Laurent Blanc is building a good team. They challenged Lyon for the La ligue title last season and with some good buys to strengthen their squad will have to be watched.

AS Roma will be our great rivals this year.  So winning our home games will be vital.  They have lost Mancini to Inter but have brought in a couple of players that might worry us..ie. RIISE.

Cluj are an unknown quantity.  Hopefully nothing to worry.  I foresee us going through to the knock out stage...but it might not be easy.

One really good thing is that we don't need to travel too far which should not hinder our league form.

Gr8 to see us have such a good start to the season.  Big Phil definitely has to be praised.  His obvious disappointment when chances were missed when we were 3-0 up augurs well for the season. This positive attitude is contagious....I like it.  It was a pleasure to watch!!!

The GREAT Mourinho has instilled tremendous defensive qualities to the squad, but this new attacking option is very invigorating.  What is even more pleasing is that ESSIEN the best player last year and Daddyo DROGBA were not playing. 

Our defensive organisation is well ingrained and combined with this thirst for goals will see us perform well above the rest of the chasing pack.  I'm looking forward to seeing us play again this weekend against Wigan.  Champions again this season!!!!

Yup, it has arrived.  30 million pounds for very average players like Adebayor and Berbatov. And then u get players like Ronaldhino for a song and Eto'o unwanted. Very, very strange.

 I could not believe us buying Deco!!! Must be Scolari's favourite. but we already had Lampard...peas from the same pod. Will be interesting to see what the midfield will look like this year now that Bosingwa will fill right back and Essien free to play in midfield. Some rich boys are gonna be disappointed shining the bench.

 Glad United are pursuing Berbatov.....hope they get him...lol.  He plays superbly in a game and then goes awol for 10.  That wll be a gr8 distraction for Manure.

The arse are gonna be also rans again. If they aren't willing to pay good wages then they will suffer on the field.  This off season has been an eye opener as to how Wenger operates. Unfortunately they are gonna be a feeder club to the richer clubs. You have gotta spread the dosh ARSEne!!!!

I hate to say this but Spurs look much stronger this year.  Good buys have strengthen their squad.  Modric is a wonderful buy. Giovanni might be a revelation. Ledley King and Gareth Bale back from injury will solidify the back four.  Wonder who will get goals for them though.

Hope we get another Goalscorer!!! Robinho are u on our way!!
