Deportivo La Coruna's season has been somewhat inconsistent so far and reached a low point last weekend with a 3-0 defeat at home to promoted side Sporting Gijon. Deportivo has scored just five
times in eight league games in total this term. Two of those came in an impressive opening weekend win at home to Real Madrid, two more in a 4-2 defeat at Valencia and the other in a hard-fought
victory against promoted side Numancia. Deportivo has therefore failed to score in five league games and coach Miguel Angel Lotina admits his side need to improve in attack. "It's not good and we
need to improve," he said. Pablo Amo is sidelined for three months with an Achilles problem, while Diego Colotto is suspended. Lotina will therefore have to reshuffle his defense for Sunday's
trip to Real Betis.
