U.S. men's national team head coach Bob Bradley annouced that the following ten players will NOT be vacationing- err- playing this weekend in Barbados this weekend.
Brian Ching (Houston Dynamo), Clint Dempsey (Fulham FC), Steve Cherundulo (Hannover 96), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy), Brad Guzan (Chivas USA), Frankie Hejduk (Columbus Crew), Maurice Edu (Toronto FC), Sacha Kljestan (Chivas USA), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado Rapids) and Matt Reis (New England Revolution).
Six of the ten players started in last Sundays first-leg match. Three of the players scored five of the eight goals scored. Bradley must be confident in younger, less experienced players. Perhaps maybe the whole U-23 team that will represent the USA at the Olympics? Just a thought.
The squad began training in Miami on Tuesday in final preparation for the second-leg match that will take place at the Kensington Oval on Sunday June 22 at 3pm e.t.
So who you do think Bradley will choose to replace these guys? FC Dallas's Kenny Cooper? Matt Reis in goal? Edson Buddle- he's got a couple of hatricks for LA? Robbie Rogers of the Crew?
