English Premier League highlights - 21/09/2008

Sunday, 21 September 08, 04:22 AM

Chelsea Vs Man Utd Highlights

Cristiano Ronaldo and Dimitar Berbatov could start up front for Manchester United against Chelsea on Sunday.

Berbatov has recovered from a knee injury, while Ronaldo made his comeback from ankle surgery as a substitute in the 0-0 draw with Villareal.

Chelsea defender John Terry is available for the match after a successful appeal against a red card.

But Blues manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has said striker Didier Drogba is still not fit enough to play for 90 minutes.

With uncertainty over the Ivory Coast international’s fitness, Scolari could be tempted to name the same starting XI that has beaten Manchester City and Bordeaux in the past week.

Everton’s Victor Anichebe faces a fitness test on the shin injury he suffered against Standard Liege.

Midfielder Marouane Fellaini returns and keeper Tim Howard should be clear play despite suffering from a virus.

Hull City 2-1 Fulham Highlights

Sunday, 17 August 08, 08:07 PM

Hull City marked their first appearance in English football's top-flight by coming from behind to beat Fulham.

Substitute Caleb Folan side-footed home the winner after fellow sub Craig Fagan caught Fulham defender Paul Konchesky in possession in his own penalty area. Brazilian striker Geovanni had brought the Tigers level before half-time with an exquisite curling shot round Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer.

Hull had earlier fallen behind to Seol Ki-Hyeon's header. A full house at the KC Stadium greeted the Premier League newcomers with a rapturous reception but it did not take long for Fulham to burst the bubble of euphoria. Simon Davies let Hull off the hook when he planted his volley into the ground from Seol Ki-Hyeon's dangerous cross.

Hull were then denied the lead when Mark Schwarzer dived full-length to claw away Geovanni's header, and the Fulham keeper then combined with John Pantsil to block Ian Ashbee's follow-up.

Watch the highlights here.
