Our Fantasy Football Leagues are on fire!!!

Soon we'll be announcing the first month winners for each of the leagues (around the first week of October). The ones who will receive the first football shirts of the new season.  Once the winners of the month are revealed we'll contact each one of them to get their info so we can purchase and ship the prizes as soon as possible.

To find out how your team is doing there are two ranking systems available:

• Team of the Month: In the Team of the Month Ranking, you'll find the Top 20 Teams of the Month (in this case September)
• Best Team of the Overall Season: In the Overall Ranking (Complete season) you will find the best teams of the Overall season (start of season till end in April 09).
  

For example; let's use team Copacabana - which is leading our English Premier League. Copacabana scored 134 points in September only and 310 in total (start of EPL season in August till now).

So even if you're not scoring that great after a few months of competition and don't stand a chance to win the overall prize at the end of the season; still you can have a good month later on in the season and find yourself in the top of the "Team of the Month" Ranking and be in with a chance to win a Month Prize.

OleOle Fantasy Football is going at full force and very soon we are going to have the first batch of monthly winners.

The transfer window closed on the 1st of September and new faces arrived on almost every team's rosters. Also some footballers are coming back from injuries and it wouldn't be a bad idea to check on them. here are a few updates from the English Premier League and you can add others from the other Leagues too.

Very important news about our Fantasy Football game!!!

The scoring dates are not the same because the leagues start in different dates. So here are the scoring dates for each one of our Fantasy Football leagues:

Another important point is that there is still time to sign up for the Early Bird Sign Up Prize but you must take action NOW!!! Registration closes on August 14^th at 11:59PM (GMT) and the prize is two (2) match tickets to the club match of your choice – up to €500 in value.

But if you miss this first chance to win don’t get your panties in a bunch, you can still register for any of the leagues until September 14^th and if you’re really a great manager you have good chances to win our seasonal prizes!!!

Are you ready for the 2008-2009 OleOle Fantasy Football Season? I hope you are. You don't want to be left out while others win cool prizes, do you? CREATE YOU TEAM NOW.

But some people have been asking questions about some of the features and on how to set up their teams. So if you also have a question you can write it in the comments box and we'll answer it.

The first one was about making substitutions and it came from our friend Stephen Byron.

He was having a hard time bringing in a player from the bench.

So here is your answer Stephen:

Once the season starts you will be able to easily manage your subs. But for now you will have to transfer that player out and then transfer the one you want to substitute too. Then you will have to acquire them again. The transfers are free until the season starts. It's a little complicated but just for now. As I said, once we get the seasons going you will be able to do that sub much easier. Just be aware that the season start on different dates.

Hello Fantasy Football Players,

We had an exciting 2007/2008 season. We would like to thank all of you for participating and playing our Fantasy Football Game.

Right now, the Grand Winner of the season - Claudio - is on his way to watch the Euro 2008 Final and all the other prize winners are being contacted and prizes are being sent on a daily basis. Lots of prizes!!! More than 60 Official Replica Shirts were given away to the best managers along the season.

We also had some problems; that's true. Invalid user e-mails that insistently bounced back, the difficulty in finding some tough football shirts choices and sizes, the impossibility to purchase directly from UK vendors (remember that  OleOle's headquarters is located in the USA), among other internal issues, caused some delay in purchasing and sending some of the prizes.

This is not going to happen next season.

ManoGil who has been a blogger here at OleOle for about a year now, recently became a full time staff member and is now in charge of "taking good care" of  everything related to Fantasy Football prizes. He's got other functions as well,  but we know that he'll make sure everybody receives their prizes from now on.

He will be also be the main person in charge of writing posts here on the Fantasy Football Report Blog to keep all of you updated with useful information about prizes and giving announcements on other cool merchandise that you can get from our main new partner: SoccerPro.com

And very, very soon you will be able to start building your team for next season. We are reformulating the Fantasy Football section to look as sharp and cool as the whole new OleOle is.
