Guardiola Delighted With Recre Triumph

The Blaugrana boss was pleased to have taken all three points and to have recorded their ninth conseutive league victory thanks to secnod half goals from Lionel Messi and Seydou Keita.

Before the game Guardiola said that Recre had improved under their new coach and so it proved, but Barça still dominated and had several good chances to extended their advantage.

"I know that no leagues are won in November, but this win will give us strength," he told reporters after the game,

"It was an important victory in what was a hard game, as we expected, because Recreativo, since Lucas Álcaraz took over, have conceded few goals and are very well organised.

"We had control and we had the majority of the chances. But we needed to score. After we went ahead we had ten minutes when we did not do well and Recre had two opportunities to score.

"That did not last though and we soon took back over."
