Barça - Numancia Saturday 24th January Kick Off 10pm

Seydou Keita in action against Numancia. Aug 2008

I know we all have our prefered kick off times and I sometimes quite enjoy a Saturday night in watching a good game. However, I would prefer it to be, say, one Saturday a month, yet this season we seem to be in action every Saturday night. By the time the game has finished and I've written my report for the blog I'm usually ready to go straight to my bed. So much for parties. Anyway next weekend's game corresponding to Jornada 20 at home to Numancia has been set for Saturday 24th with a 10pm kick off. Remember that Numancia are the only side to beat us in the La Liga this season, winning 1-0 on the first day of the season. Time to hand out some revenge methinks.

I have been waiting for this game. Barça should show no mercy on this club just for their audacity in beating us the first day of the season !!

Hilal,
Well said about pep! Your analysis makes sense. I guess I will wait and see.

Blau,
No man, no emotions here. We are all fans of the same team and I think we all want the best for the team. Of course, you didn't lose anything...(it was just a 'lame' attempt of making light of things). It is not about winning or losing. I genuinely appreciate the fact that on this forum, we all learn new things about Barcelona on a daily basis and we learn from events, debates, weird points of views and tirades. The point I was trying to make by bringing it up again is that even the most outlandish arguments can sometime be true or at least have some truth. Thus, we must be fair in our counters to any claim and be more nuanced. I appreciate your opinions (especially yours, Hilal's and Layi's). Please,Don't get me wrong!!!

On the Numancia game...I think we will open a can of whoop *ss on them!
Barca 4-Numancia 0
