Betis And Espanyol Kick Off Times Announced

Wednesday, 17 September 08, 09:04 AM · Comments (9)

The LFP today announced the kick off times for Jornadas 4 and 5 of the season. In Jornada 4 Barça are at home to Betis and the kick off time has been set for 8pm local time on Wednesday 24th September, which coincides with the end of the La Merce fiestas in the city. If you ever plan to visit Barcelona I highly recommend that you come for these fiestas. The following Saturday Barça are away to Espanyol in the city's derby match. The kick off has been set for 10pm which means it will been shown live on Spanish TV channel La Sexta as well as on Catalunya's TV3.

off topic but read one lovely transfer rumor, one not so lovely. on the good one, abidal maybe going to milan in jan!!!! that would be out of this world great, and the report said they were quite interseted. on a BAD side, and on a topic discussed quite a bit today and last night, yaya to arsenal. OK sure it was the daily mail, but that was a real story in the summer with wenger even admitting he liked the player. plus that move would make perfect sense for arsenal, they need his type of player, he is young, he is french, and would start every game no doubt about it, plus his brother is there. and frankly if yaya benches much more games it would make sense for him professionally. but i would be very sad and disappointed with that move.

but hey they only rumors right now...

Blaugranaboy -
Toure said yesterday that Wenger had called him during the summer but he told him he was happy at Barça.
This is the same Wenger who is always complaining about his players being approached by other clubs!

It will be nice to see Abidal out of Barca asap. In regard to Wenger trying to lure Yaya to Arsenal; I doubt if that comes to fruition. Arsenal and Wenger are more into poaching young players especially from Spain. They are not financially solid to compete with the big boys. They seem to get by mainly on signing young unknowns or bottom priced players. Let's face it, top quality players don't come knocking on Arsenal doors or demand to be traded there. However, once good players get established in Arsenal then after they get tired of winning nothing for years they demand to be traded. Wenge is a hypocrite and full of himself and he only wants to be in the news.

its imperative we keep toure. as the season wears on, we will need both kieta and yaya to hold our midfield, as the champions league goes on the need for a strong, physical and domineering holding midfielder will be crucial for many away matches. that is were yaya will shine! his physical presence is so so important in those touchy away matches! but regardless i still believe his skill will be utilized at home in la liga matches as well. he will rotated into the game very shortly, i predict he will be in the starting 11 as soon as sunday against gijon.

Yes we need to keep Toure. We WILL NEED HIM. In games against RM and Villareal, he should get the starting nod because of the strength in their midfield. That would be a mistake to offload him because should Keita get injured we will regret it.
