This is the first call-up to the full squad for both players and is recognition for the form shown this season. It's great to see Busquets and Pique getting recognition, for their performances this season. They are both strong and solid and are the teams future.

btw, Busquets only made his u-21 debut a little over 4 months ago...

Congrats to them,

Barca now has 5 players, playing 4 Spain.

It's a great opportunity for them. Who wouldn't like the chance to give Frank Lampard a good kick?

5 players shit thats not good that means 1 or more of our players could get injured for this yet meaningless friendly

nic,
I'm sure Busquets is licking his chops to have a go at anybody. He is relentless but he has to keep his aggression under control. One aspect I don't like about his game is the unnecessary diving. As for Pique, as I mentioned in a previous post, he has all the physical attributes to turn into a solid defender. However,he keeps making too many "mental "errors.Unless he improves in that department,we may have another Marquez on our hands !!

No surprise in here, Busquets has had a great year and Fabregas is injured so... it was kinda easy to tell he would make the squad.

Pique is at the same level Marchena, Albiol & Juanito are, glad del Bosque gave him the chance.

Busquets is the phenomenon of this year in Barça . he is too young but he playes as a 30 years old player .

Sure Barça will dominate the midfield of Spanish national team for the coming years.so gud luck Busqui lol

WHY, OH WHY DOES MIKEL ARTETA NOT MAKE THE SQUAD?

I`m with Malcolm. It`s astonishing why Mikel Arteta (much more skillful than Alonso) doesn`t get picked for Spain? I don`t care how good Spain currently are, they`d be even better with Arteta. If he played for Liverpool he`d be in every game. Real shame as International football is missing out on a great player at the height of his career. Nothing short of tragic. Feel very sorry for Arteta himself most of all.
