Champions League Preview: Wisla Krakow-Barça

Having won the first game 4-0 Barça go into the return leg in Poland without the need to recall Leo Messi who has been given a rest after competing in the Olympic Games. However, Barça are treating the game with the respect that Champions League qualification deserves, and despite the comfortable lead Dani Alves and Martin Caceres both return to the squad after missing the game against Boca Juniors through injury.
Reserve team goalkeeper Ruben Miño is also included in the squad in case Jose Manuel Pinto doesn't recover in time from a slight injury to his right elbow. Pedro continues in the squad and with Messi being left out he may get another chance in the starting line-up after performing well in the first leg at Camp Nou.
At the time of writing I can find no team news for Wisla, possibly due to the over-confidence of the local press. However, playing at home we will probably see a bit more of Wisla attacking and Barça will need to watch out for the brothers Pawel and Piotr Brozek.
Txiki Begiristain spoke today of the need for seriousness in the game while also stating that Barça could still make a move in the transfer market. The left sided attacking position still looks to be the one in most need of reinforcements.
Barça's squad for the game: Valdés, Pinto, Ruben Miño, Alves, Puyol, Marquez, Caceres, Pique, Abidal, Sylvinho, Toure, Keita, Xavi, Iniesta, Gudjohnsen, Hleb, Pedro, Bojan, Eto'o, Henry.
Possible starting XI: Valdés; Alves, Puyol, Marquez, Abidal; Xavi, Keita, Iniesta; Pedro, Eto'o, Henry.
My prediction: Wisla 1 Barça 2

Another easy win for FCB. 3-0. Hey ae_fcbnews , I caught the game and I have to say Valencia will be remembered for how badly they played in the second half more then how good RM played. I will say that RM did have heart and a desire to win that game but the first half showed that they will have problems this year. It reminded me of the game with Barca and Getafe in which Getafe took it to Barca in the second leg at home to advance. After watching the first leg and how well Valencia played I had hopes that this year would be very competitive but now I just think it will be a two team race with Barca and RM fighting for top spot.
Wisla are not Boca Jr. With that in mind ...

and oh nic or anyone dou you know when the draw for the champions league group stage draw is and what time?
I'll have to go for 2-0 on this one. Probably one from Etoo and one from... hmm.. let's say Alves just for the hell of it.

Did anybody watched Supercup game? Valencia is a team full of idiots. Looks like they could not win a game even if Real put a B team on pitch.
