Great comeback ! But why the Hell does Gradiola insist on including Henry, Abidal , Marquez and Gudjohnsen in the squad ? They are all useless crap. I think Pinto should start in goal instead of the incompetent Valdes. It seems to me that everytime those players get involved, they find a way to f@#$ things up !! RUtalking2me....... Henry I yet to reach top form give him some slack. And for the 1000 time VV is a great goal keeper not being as good as Iker doesn't make him a bad one. Abidal is useless so is that tribal striker Gudjohnsen. I still believe Henry will become a great player as in the Barca shirt in due time specially when Messi is around and Helb. I will never believe that Gudjohnsen will be a real something in Barca, for him to score a dame goal it must be a clean shot and even then I'm not quiet sure if he will score. believe in Henry even if he will never reach the Arsenal level he will teach the youngsters how to be great. Marquez is a great sub, I don't think he should be a First eleven player but he should differently be on the Barca squad

oh my god are u kidding me. that is no where near even one of messi's best goals of all time let alone the actual sports. it was fast play and quick feet but thats by no means a special goal.

lol.....blaugranaboy....maybe the person who watched it had never seen Messi play before and was in so much awe of his talent that he thought it was the best goal ever scored. Somebody better show him the goal against Getafe, or the chip against Mexico.....there are so many that are better than this goal! I also think that generally Olympic football is of quite a mediocre level so this could well be one of the best goals scored at the Olympics.

i am easily henry's biggest critic. frankly i hated his guts last yr. but after being suggested to let the past be the past, i really think he can do well. he looked very good in one game (vs Valencia at home) at the end of last yr and i was happy with him against Wisla. but his success banks upon two things: his acceptance of his more left sided role (which i always thought he could be good at) and accepting he is NOT the star of the team, never will be and that Etoo is gonna bang away a few more goals. if he decides to make that position his (really owns it), doesnt suffer injuries, i think he will be a valuable asset. he has the talent, it all came down to effort last yr. either way comments like this can only make u happy.

If ya'll want to judge that Messi goal, you may want to take a look at the following link. It's the best goal compilation video for Messi I have come across. It hasn't been updated in a while, so his great goals against Celtic and Bayern (remember that one??? holy cow was that crazy) from last year's preseason aren't included, but maybe those shouldn't count b/c they were friendlies. But his goal v. Mexico isn't there either. Still a great compilation tho.

This most recent goal may deserve to rank above some of the team goals listed 6-15, since it was a solo effort. But it certainly shouldn't crack the top 5. Just my opinion. Enjoy the vid for those who haven't seen it.

Messi is the greatest player in the world! I know that CRonaldo got all the attention last season but that was CRonaldo at his best. We have yet to see the best of Messi! If he stays healthy I feel that Messi can become one of the greatest to ever play the game! Arriba el Barca!

Hey Nic. Hope your having a good time out there! Usual transfer rumors going around....Arhsavin, Neves and more recently Capel seems to be a favourite in the press. Arshavin has apparently contacted Barca to see if they are still interested and he was told he is an "option". This is according to Mundo Deportivo. There was another story today that Hernanes has resurfaced as an option.....doesnt seem very likely though!

Really hope Barca don't sign Arshvin. Just don't see what the fuss is really about.
Have a few good games at Euro and everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

I am watching Holland play Russia in a friendly match . Arshavin looked absolutely terrible in the first half. He hardly touched the ball. Not impressive at all.

Russia who was playing at home was awarded a phantom penalty. The match ended 1-1. Holland ,even without half of the starters, could have won easily. Too many easy chances were needlessly wasted. Anyway, I'm having some doubts about Arshavin. Sometimes, he looks very good but other times he is very ordinary. Consistency could be an issue. I agree with Barca4Eva regarding Hernanes. He played very well for Brazil. Does anyone have any thoughts about Ronaldinho ? He seems to be content with just passing the ball around !!

Hey y'all.. Just watched Spain beating my danish brothers 3-0. Diego Capel was one of the game's best. Caused a lot of trouble for the danish defense and assisted two of their goals - one goal from Xavi by the way.
Capel would definetely look great as a blaugrana, and he also admits, that signing for Barca would be 'great'.
