Iago Falque Signs For Juventus

Monday, 01 September 08, 08:53 PM · Comments(17)

Unless there is a major surprise in the next couple of hours, the only last day transfer activity at Barça has seen the departure of one of our most promising youngsters Iago Falqué Silva who has signed for Juventus. The 18-year-old has signed a four year contract for the Italians.

According to the Juventus website which calls the player "Falque Silva Yago" the player underwent his medical today and then signed the contract at the Club's headquarters. The Juve website continues: "Yago expressed his satisfaction for the deal: «I'm happy to have the chance to join a prestigious Club such as Juventus. I'm excited about the idea of being able to train with huge stars and I can't wait to begin. I hope I can make myself useful and show my skills. I wish to thank Claudio Ranieri for the praise he bestowed on me and I’m committed to honouring his expectations».

Alessio Secco – speaking to Juventus Channel – wanted to express his satisfaction for the transfer: «Yago is a very promising youth; we'd been following him for some time. He will need to get stronger and he'll be playing with the Youth Team. This signing confirms Juventus' regard for younger players»".

He plays on the wing and is behind both Jeffren and Gai on the left in the youth team. Messi has the right flank locked up at Barca for the next decade. Promising player, but there's no place for him. (A good problem to have, I guess.) Juve is a good opportunity for Iago; wish him well.

Nic--Are you going to predict league outcomes? Where will Barca and its rivals finish in the table? Guess # of points? Was looking for such a post.

Robinho to City...wow...that is good news. Karma is a B****!!! The funny thing about it is that City plays Chelsea next in a couple of weeks...isn't it ironic>>>

I gave it a shot on my blog. I refrained from giving final table ranking but thoroughly covered all the teams and so far I have not been proven wrong. Please, check it out!!! I will send the link!!!

@Blaugranafan:

this is exert from my analysis of this year's la liga about Numancia:

"Sergio Kresic is asking for even more signings for Numancia. The club has already signed 8 new players for this upcoming season. This team truly impressed last year with their fighting spirit. Here’s football that is very basic but exceptionally efficient. They always defend well and seize every opportunity to attack and cause damage. Numancia has staying power and is keen to surprise."

Well, they surprised us, didn't they!!!

How Can Madrid sell Robinho ? They are already lacking stars. Good news for us any way ! On the other hand Rafael van der Vaart is one hell of a player not to mention now they will buy Kaka or somthing.

But this is really discusting whats happening in football in england it has really become a rich man's playground, the day u sell you club to fat rich basterd you have sold your football soul, your players start turning mercenary and really don't give a crap about the colours they wear, they just concerned about making their own television shows( yeah i'am looking at you frank lampard) and their million dollar yaght with a helipad cause they cant wait in traffic, la liga should study this and try and prevent such acts from happening

i don't really know if they FA really has power or if they are really concerned about what direction their football is heading ,its discusting like the size of guti's teeth

but iam glad i belong to the blaugrana i club that u can never buy even for a hundred trillion dollors cause it means more to a people than money

Why do other clubs always target our best youth players?
it just ain't fair...

but fortunetly our youth system is just so good that we'll have a good replacement
