Iniesta Out For Six To Eight Weeks

Wednesday, 05 November 08, 09:52 AM · Comments (8)

Iniesta after his injury

It's been officially confirmed on the club webpage that Andres Iniesta has a torn muscle in his right thigh and the time of recovery has been put at six to eight weeks. He will miss the games against Valladolid, Benidorm, Recreativo, Getafe, Sporting Lisbon, Sevilla, Valencia and Shakhtar. Unless he makes a miraculous recovery he will also miss the game with Real Madrid on 13/14th December and also the clash at Villarreal just before christmas.

There is never a good time to get injured but Iniesta would have been very important for the big games coming up in December. Let's hope he is back to full fitness as soon as possible.

this is truly unfortunate. he was playing probably his best football ever. sucks to have an injury break that form. he will be a big miss i reckon in those big matches. hleb in my opinion so far has not shown enough and well my opinions on henry are noted. iniesta on that left wing for us really is a great weapon. he even stated the other day that was his favorite position.

Unfortunately, I think that Iniesta's injury is really going to hurt the club. As mentioned, Hleb just probably isn't going to get the job done. With that said, I really hope he recovers quickly, and, as sovran said, is well in time for the match against Real Madrid.

I just watched a few minutes of Juventus vs. Madrid. Madrid look like crap. There is no way they are going to win anything this year. Juventus:2-0 !!

Noooooooo!!!!!!!!

Hleb might be able to do the job as dont forget he hasnt been given a run of games of time time to gel with his team-mates. Henry is useless on left-wing so I would go for Hleb-Eto-Messi up front and sometimes change Eto and Henry in CF.

Now we will see two things. How good Barca's squad really is, and how Pep adapts the team tactics and personnel as up untill now he has pretty much enjoyed his best starting 11. It is very unfortunate it happened to Iniesta of all people and for the period which includes some major games buts lets not lose hope.

Barca all the way!

Why did we have to loose Iniesta now

However we do have enough cover for him but not his creativity.

Wish Iniesta a speedy recovery...
