Recreativo - Barça Sunday 16th November Kick Off 9pm

Leo Messi in action last season against Recre

Barça's game next weekend in Huelva against Recreativo has been set for Sunday evening (November 16th) with a 9pm kick off time. Last season we only managed a 2-2 draw in the corresponding fixture. I was just looking back at this blog's report of the match and it is interesting to read the comments at the time. Last season's game was in April, just seven months ago, it shows how far we have come in a short time. Click here for the report and 100 comments on that game, it makes interesting reading. It is also worth checking the link to watch Samuel Eto'o's cracking 2nd goal.

Oh, and I believe I forgot to give the kick off time for the Copa del Rey return game with Benidorm: the game will take place next Wednesday (12th November) with the kick off time of 9pm.

lol.....yeah......i was still saying it when they appointed Pep, and thank god they did. He has been a breath of fresh air, he is unpredictable, brave, tactically sound and nobody knows or loves the club better than him. Mourinho would never have had the same impact as Pep in terms of solidarity with the club. Pep IS Barca. Im not saying that Mourinho wouldnt have been good or gotten results, i just feel that Pep is more suited to our style and our beliefs. At the time though u have to admit, very few coaches came to mind besides the special one. Certainly nobody thought Pep would produce what he has. I honestly thought it would take at the very least 6 months for his ideas to be translated onto the pitch. Its nice to be wrong sometimes =D

Those comments brought back some baaaad memories. Lets hope we dont relive any of those moments any time soon. The real tests come up soon guys, lets hope we can see it through till Jan......especially now that both Iniesta and Abidal are probably going to miss most if not all of the big games come December!

Yeah, it is funny to read that )))
Luckily that we have had been mistaken in asking these people to become our coach :)

Without Iniesta and Abidal the rest of the cracks will play more.. which means they need to be double attentive not to get any injury too. We will have very tough december, therefore I hope no one else will get injured..

We will beat Man U...without question(no miracle needed)-just watch. If we don't, I will walk the streets with a sack of bees in my pants and go to sleep in my wife's Real Madrid Jersey!!! You heard it here first!!!"

looooooooool =D

After walking with a pack of bees in his pants I doubt he would be able to do much with his wife :D

Back to Barca now, should be an interesting game. Away from home, a team that is flying however without one of their top performers and an injured left side. Who does Pep play? Does he change formation a bit? These are all interesting questions and we will learn more about Pep in the next month then we have in the last 3 trust me. Pep had a full compliment before - no ones places were safe. Now with certain injuries maybe some players will relax, maybe someone will not be 100% in tackles after seeing is team-mates injured. I just hope Pep gets it right and Barca continues their march toward the championship!!

Frankly barca is playing better than any big club today and I don’t think anyone can stop them …. apart from injuries … so pep pls keep rotating and resting your players (specially the grt MESSI) … Player to player barca is superior to them ALL as of now.
