Tell your girlfriend, boyfriend, lover, husband, wife, parents, children, siblings, friends or whoever that next Saturday night you have a previous engagement. Yes, the first really big match of the season away at Sevilla has been set for Saturday 29th November with a kick off at 10pm local time. You could plan a real footballfest and watch the Getafe - Real Madrid game which starts earlier at 8pm.

Cannot wait!! Altho I'm more worried about this weeks games. The moment Barca start thinking 1 week ahead is when Pep will kick there asses!!

Starting with Getafe this weekend, the next five games until the Mallorca game in January '09 are crucial.

The ideal situation is that we win them all - and that is possible. Although I don't believe we have been at our peak I do believe that we are close to it and this is the perfect time for it. Also - with the exception of Getafe - the other teams (Sevilla, Real Madrid, Villareal, Valencia) have everything to play for as they are title contenders and are more likely to attack us unlike some of the lower teams who "park a bus" in front of their goalkeeper and only play counter attacking football. This expected attacking football from these teams suits us Barca perfectly as we only play one way - attack. This should leave gaps in their defence for us to exploit.

But then again, this is all theory, with the way we have been playing maybe even those idiots fromMadrid fear us so much they play with 9 players behind the ball and only Higuain upfront, that shouldnt trouble us though, we have locksmiths (Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Bojan, Dani Alves...) that can unlock any stubborn defence.

Barca! Barca! Baaaaaaaaaaaaaarca!

To be honest, I think the team can handle one game without Messi even though I think Getafe will be a tough team to break down with the "park the bus" defence mentality!

Barca need to keep Messi fit so make sure he isnt risked!

The official website has said that its not a muscle injury. Hopefully its not too serious. More like a sore, or cramp or even better, a really bad bug bite.

Messi is the most important player on the team . Let's hope that his injury is not serious . A major injury to Messi would definitely be the worst case scenario . There is NO way that Barça can win any title without his presence . With Iniesta also out , it would be interesting to see where the creativity comes from on the front line . Eto ó is strictly a goal scorer. Hleb is still a question mark . Henry ? well , go Barça !!
