Statistics Page Up To Date

Having sorted out the polls I have now managed to get the statistics page up and running. You can click on statistics at the top of the page and then you can check the stats for both this season and last season, or if you want to go immediately to this season's stats click here
While we are on the subject of improvements to the blog please feel free to send comments with your suggestions. Please don't expect me to follow all your ideas but I promise to consider all of them and if I have technical difficulties getting things done I will ask the guys at Oleole if they can help sort things out.

I am hearing that Laporta and Pep are trying to test Eto'o's commitment to the club with a lower offer to extend his contract. Is that true?
If it is then It will be seriously stupid of them to go that route.Great players should be payed well, especially if they have won many trophies for you. They should test his dedication by judging him on his output on the field. This move will really upset me. Screw this whole commitment crap, pay the players and win games:that is all they are asked to do. Just as things start going well, they have to get "cute" again. I will STOP supporting Barcelona until the both of them are gone (Laporta and Pep) if they chose to pull this crap on Eto'o, not because I "love" Eto'o but because it seems "unfair".
Hey Darren, I don't think there is much need for "assistants" as such, you guys already do a great job through the comments you send when I miss anything.
Barça-Rotterdam - Abidal benefitted from a very good game against Atletico, a game in which neither Alves or Toure played in. However, besides that, I think both Alves and Toure have been very disappointing so far this season, also Alves received the lowest mark of any player in any game this season with a 4.5 against Numancia.
Diatus - I don't know if there is any truth in the story. You need to remember that it is during international breaks that the Catalan press have most problems to fill their many pages; this is when we usually get the most bullsh*t stories. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
Regarding the rumours about Eto'o contract, is it conceivable that the people in charge at Barça don't want to commit to a longer or a higher contract extension for Eto'o because they are thinking about signing Benzema next year ?

bt i still dont agree with you yaya has been poor this season, he has certainly not been magnificent but he has not been poor considering the amount of games he has played, other players hav neutralized their poor games(which mayb toure was involved)with other good games

Nic - maybe you could appoint assistants to help you report fcb stuff? I'm just thinking when you are away or such it may be a good idea to have some helpers assisting the blog...particularly maybe even in different regions/time zones who can add stuff while you sleep and vice versa?
Other than that....keep up the good work - cant fault anything!
Just out of curiousity, how can Abidal have a higher rating in La Liga than Alves and Yaya ? Can this guy be better than anybody ? I doubt it !!
