Xavi Or Iniesta: Who Is Better?

I think Messi is Barça's best and most valuable player. He is irreplaceable. Eto'o comes third. However,it is difficult for me to choose between Iniesta and Xavi. As nic outlined above they are two different players. Xavi is the maestro who currently runs the offences of Spain,the number one national team in the world and Barça, one of the best clubs in the world. It is hard to top Xavi's CV , but I find watching Iniesta meandering through oppositon a real pleasure that is as good as it gets to watching Messi's mesmerizing runs past defenders and goalkeepers!!

the new poll is not as simple as "yes or no"
i'm gonna hit the yes-button, but still i'd rather see Petr Cech at our beloved club.

vv is a good keeper, but there's simply better ones out there. we always have to aim for the best - catalan or not.

I have already voted NO on Valdes. We should try to sign Asenjo who is a young goalkeeper with a bright future and better yet for a 5 million Euro buy out price tag !!

I would say Xavi, not Iniesta... Iniesta falls to much to my opinion But Henry is a good player as well..

it was a really tough one...I myself was debatin over whom to vote...but I voted for Xavi in the end...I'd much rather watch Iniesta play, but Xavi runs the midfield...I think we'd miss Xavi much more than Iniesta...so I'd say Xavi...

Iniesta is my pick. Personally, I rate Iniesta higher than any ANY player in the world!!!

seriously, i think you've got to pick Xavi. Iniesta gets hurt to often and scores and assists too little to be better. i mean, he's sweet to watch when he's on, but Xavi's there in an out almost every game, making the whole thing tick. for me it's not really even close.

but then again, i voted for Alves because what's better than two players for the price of one? he's one of a kind, at least in my book.

however, the answer is SOOOOOO easy and in fact irrefutable. its Xavi, no question about it.

Xavi has been a constistent superstar in our team for nearly 10 years now. He played through awful patch in the late 90s, early 00s and was always the consistent and every present shinning light in the team of many useless playres. for years and years as a youngster i told all my friends that never watched barca that xavi was the best center midfielder in the world bar none, its s message a will repeat to anyone today and now he is finally getting his dues. its not like xavi has gotten much better lately, its just our team is far more trendy and in the spot light these days. xavi has actually had better seasons, like in the 2nd half of rijkaards first campaign (he was truly incredible, and i know lots of people here wouldnt have watched, being fans for only about 4 yrs, but i wont start pushing those buttons).

u just cannot pick iniesta. he is an incredible player and grossly underrated internationally, one of my favorites by far. but xavi has been doing it far longer and in far tougher situatoins. ive never seen as player with as good a touch, passing, vision and ability to create space EVER. xavi controls our team. he is irreplaceable.

u just have to give xavi his credit for years and years of consistent brilliance.

and who do u think iniesta modelled his game from? there similiarities are undeniable.

guys lets not fight over whos better.....like nic said just be happy both are world class players and we are lucky enough to have them........and plus the question was who for YOU is barcas second best player?? and there really is no right or wrong answers

Xavi just edges it IMO as he orchestrates and pulls the strings in the midfield...

But Iniesta is also central to our success and i'm just glad Barca has developed these 2 bright talents.

We are very priviledged.

Xavi is much better than Iniesta.He has better ball control & is a master at set pieces.Overally, they are both great players!!!
