UEFA Champions League group stage match. Shaktar and AC Milan faced each other last October 27 at the San Siro in Milan, Italy, and AC Milan were able to beat Shaktar 4-1. Alberto Gilardino and
Clarence Seedorf scored 2 goals each for AC Milan in that 4-1 win over Shaktar Donetsk.
Shkatar Donetsk and AC Milan both lead the UEFA Champions League Group D with 6 points each. Certainly, the winner of the Shaktar-AC Milan match will be the solo leader of Group D.
Shaktar Donetsk will host AC Milan at the RSC Olympiyskiy Stadium in Donetsk, Ukraine for the upcoming November 7 Champions League match. Shaktar Donetsk coach Mircea Lucescu will be relying on the likes of Cristiano Lucarelli, Dmytro Chygrnskiy and Ilsinho to provide the home win.
