End Of Match:
Two great goals for Venezuela. One for Jean Carlos Maldonado and the second one an AMAZING lefty shot by Ronald Vargas.
Venezuela played amazingly well and deserved the victory.
Brazil had only two clear chances and it happened in the second half with Diego shooting open from inside the box and being denied by goalkeepeer Vega. And the second one the a heel flick kick by Adriano the went very near the goal.
Not enough from a team that wants to win their first Olympic Gold or their 6th World Cup Title.
For Venezuela, A GIANT STEP to prove how much the country has grown in terms of football.

87': Substitution for Venezuela: Rincon OUT and R. Hernandez IN
85': Brazil has only 5 minutes to avoid the disaster. I don't see it happening. The historians of football may start grabbing their pens to write a new page in the book of incredible upsets: On june 6th 2008, in Boston, USA, Venezuela won the first match against Brazil. And it's good to mention that it was not an accidental win. Two very beautiful goals!

74':
Time is passing by and Brazil still not showing signs of a spectacular come back. The attempts are clumsy and with no real teamwork quality

71': 20 minutes to the end of a historical match!!! Venezuela beats Brazil by 2 goals to nothing
69': Maldonado is removed from the pitch with a injury. But it doesn't seem to be serious and he's prompt back into the game
66': Adriano out and Luis Fabiano in.
The Brazilian team is now: Doni, Maicon, Luisão, Henrique and Gilberto; Josué, Mineiro, Diego and Anderson; Robinho and Luis Fabiano
65': Brazil strikes back! Lows cross from Robinho and Adriano uses a heel flick to tip the ball very near the right post.Almost!

Substitution for Brazil: Elano goes out and Mineiro comes in
57': Venezuela is playing total defense!!! Brazil is getting closer and closer to scoring their first goal
57':
INCREDIBLE!!!!
Huge mistake by Venezuela's defense. Adriano recovers the ball for Brazil and rolls a perfect pass for Diego the goalkeeper Vega closes down on him and the ball bounces back. Diego tries the bicycle kick on the rebound and the ball hits the post. Almost!!!
51': Brazil playing better now. Robinho is on a free offensive role now that Diego is making the connection between midfield and attack. Maicon's experience is also making a difference on the right side
51': Robinho shows his skills on the left side of Brazil's attack and is stopped with a foul. Free kick for Brazil taken by Diego. He centers the ball and it goes over the bar.
46': Brazil starts the second half with more depth and pushing more players forward. A good passing line ends up with Anderson shooting. The ball goes out of the right side of Vega's goal.
45': The second half starts. Brazil had 3 subs. Diego, Maicon and Josué come in for Pato, Dani Alves and Gilberto Silva respectively. Venezuela beats Brazil 2-0
Half Time:
Just some interesting information:
Before this match Brazil and Venezuela had played 17 times and Brazil won ALL of them.
The Brazilians had scored 78 goals and Venezuela only 4.
In 45 minutes the Red Wine already increased the number of goals scored in matches against Brazil in 50%.
And if some could say that the 1 x 0 was an accident, the second goal proved that Venezuela really deserves the score so far.
If that's the Brazil who's going to face Argentina and about 10 days I feel sorry for the Brazilians
44':
END OF FIRST HALF!!!
Believe it or not... Venezuela 2 x 0 Brazil
A first half for the history of football in the world. Anything can happen in the second half but Venezuela has proved that their 5th position in the South American World Cup Qualifying is not an accident
44':
GGGOOOLLLAAAZZZOOO!!!!!

40': 5 minutes to the end of first half and Venezuela DOMINATES the match. I've never thought I would say that in my entire life.
37': Now it'sa Venezuela that controls the ball very well. Good passing, excellent defense, dangerous attack. Brazilians players are trying but can't find a way to unlock the Red wine's defense
35':
Brazil still struggling.
Elano takes the free kick but Adriano doesn't head the ball well and it goes over the bar.
34':
AAAAALLLLLLMMMMOOOOSSSTTTT!!!!
Venezuela almost scores the second goal. A great play from Maldonado to Rincon and the crossing came low. The ball crossed in front of Doni's goal and the Venezuelan striker didn't reach the ball
31':
Brazil full force!!!
The Brazilians intensify the pressure but Venezuela is doing a great job in defense
30': Free kick for Venezuela. But the ball goes far, far from Brazil's goal. It's just a goal kick
27': Ultra fast attack for Brazil. Anderson carries the ball and passes to Robinho. The Real Madrid's forward can't control it and another attack is wasted.
27': Anderson takes a shot from outside the box. It's Brazil's first shot in the match
25': Venezuela is involving Brazil. The Red and Wine attracts the Brazilian and uses the counter-attacks very well. Vargas send another through ball but the flag went up... I swear to God I didn't think the Venezuelan striker was off-side
23': Pato on the left side of Brazil's offense sends a low cross that is cut by the defense
22': Extremely skilled midfielder Vargas is stopped by Dani Alves with a nasty foul. Another yellow card for the Brazilians
18': Brazilian defender Luisão tries a deep ball to Robinho but it goes out of bounds for another goal kick to Venezuela
18': Venezuela mantains 11 players behind the ball but Brazil is putting pressure in the "Red Wine" defense.
15': Robinho sends a ball inside the 18 yard box Pato sets with the head and Adriano went for a clumsy bicycle kick but ends up hiting the defenders face. The referee call it a dangerous play.

Brasil is not brasil anymore, they are finally human. I know u saw the friendly against Canada, too. If canada would have never back checked so weakly brasil would have drawn with them.
Could it be the Brasilians are too egoistical for their own good and maybe Selfish?
