I don't know why Palop gets a chance to play for the National team. He's an excellent goalie.

Honestly, the thing that most impressed me this past season in La Liga was that someone was actually able to coax heart and determination out of a bunch of superstars. Read: Real Madrid. How they
could decide to sack Fabio Capello is the question. I guess they want more superstars and less "team".

Thanks for some great comments. Yeah Palop is amazing and even on penalties. The turnaround at Madrid was incredible. But La Liga top to bottom was very exciting. Anyone could beat anyone. The middle
of the table was incredibly strong IE Mallorca, Espanyol, Villarreal, Recre Huelva etc. Every game was exciting. And the relegation battle let alone the title battles were intense. One of the best
years IMO.
