Juventus and Barcelona - HANDS OFF!

Sunday, 20 July 08, 12:52 PM

First off:

Alexander Hleb still enjoys pushing our buttons.

He was quoted saying that Fabregas could rejoin Barcelona.

Excuse me if I might sound a bit rash but... Can you please just fuck off? First he blasts Wenger AND Fabregas, next thing you know he goes around to the press saying:

The Belarussian playmaker revealed that his great friend at Arsenal showed him around the Catalan capital on a previous trip and still loves the club where he began.

His GREAT FRIEND? Pardon me, but either Hleb has totally lost it or we're being spoon fed this bullshit by the media.

"He loves this club, and though he’s at Arsenal, who knows, maybe one day he’ll come back here," he explained. "He and Flamini were my best mates at Arsenal. "I once came to Barcelona from London with Cesc, but that was only a day-trip and I saw little of the city which is now my home.”

If you leave a club, leave gracefully, don't turn around and spit poison in our eyes. Best of luck in Spain. Break a leg or two.

NEXT: William Gallas. True or false? Fact or Myth? Fancy this report - The Arsenal captain is reportedly being targeted by both Barcelona and PSG and could potentially be the next player to leave the Emirates, following Flamini, Hleb and Gilberto.

Barcelona again? I find it to be extremely frustrating to find every other day filled with reports that Barcelona are trying to buy another player of ours. We all remember Gallas venting his frustration at St. Andrews on the same fateful day that Martin Taylor broke Eduardo's leg, but he still did his share of captaining the side and contributed a good amount to the team. However if a deal was to go through for Gallas then the money could be used to buy a stronger defender, but for at least one more season Gallas should remain at his post.

Now the news that baffled me the most, Juventus' 'final summer bid' for Robin van Persie. Are you kidding me? You've got me laughing like the Joker being told that his sinister reign will soon end.

We've just lost three first team players - do you really think that Arsene Wenger will allow Barcelona and Juventus to take any more players away from us? Not a chance. Wenger's post-match conference after the Barnet game assured us that we will certainly sign one more player - maybe even two.

As for Adebayor, when Wenger was asked if he will stay, his response was simple: "of course." The next friendly is in Austria, where we play Szombathelyi on Tuesday. Once again it will be more of a test for the youngsters, but maybe more first team players will start to warm up their boots for the Emirates Cup. Till then.
