Chelsea went from big favourites to win the league this season to a mere spectator of the Liverpool/Manchester United battle. The decision of letting Scolari go could've been precipitated and the signing of Guus Hiddink came too late. However Chelsea is now the only team with chances to clich the three major trophies this season: Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League. But at the same time they have good chances to finish completely empty handed.
Tonight's match can be called a rehearsal for the FA Cup final and I'm sure Everton want to take this rehearsal quite seriously. It's the Toffees great opportunity to pass Aston Villa and take the 5th place on the table; not that they will have time to put up a fight for Arsenal's spot in the Champions League.
Everton have not won at Stamford Bridge in the last 13 Premier League matches and Chelsea have not lost to Everton in 21 matches in all competitions. Could that change tonight?
GOBSMACK PREDICTION: Chelsea come out with a narrow win tonight, 2-1

The match of the season! A draw could mean suicide for both teams and a win will represent a chance to fight for the title against Man Utd. But in my opinion whoever loses this match can start
waving the Premiership title goodbye. The only problem is that Chelsea now is playing the same boring football of last yea (and the years before) and Liverpool's offense is not working as
expected and the Reds already have drawn 9 matches this season.
GOBSMACK PREDICTION:Chelsea will come on top 3-2

Transfer rumours linking Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid! Well, but that is not new. Andrey Arshavin could be going to Arsenal? Chelsea
have eyes on Sevilla's frontman Luis Fabiano? Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona fighting to sign Ashley Young? Gossip, Transfer rumours and more gossip... Yes, this is the 2009 Winter
Transfer. So let's now see with America's geniuses of idioticity Paris Hilton and George Bush WHAT'S HOT and WHAT'S BOLLOCKS. (Just because they certainly
understand nothing about footie)
1.
Cristiano Ronaldo to Real
Madrid - Yes, once again there are talkings about the Manchester United's winger and recently named Best Footballer in the world going to the Santiago Bernabeu but I haven't
heard a thing from the Spanish club in the past weeks about signing the portuguese, most of the talks come from Ronaldo himself.
Bush says: Bollocks.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.
Andrey Arshavin to Arsenal - He almost went to the Spurs in the summer but ened up staying with Zenit for another six months but now the necessity of
quality players has put Arsenal as at the top spot of the race to swoop the Russian talent.
Paris says: That's hot.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.
Karim Benzema to Real
Madrid - The rumour is hot but it might have to wait until next summer. Benzema himself already stated that he dreams of playing for the Spanish club however Real Madrid
directors tend to be interested in every sinlge player in Europe and with the acquisitions of Huntelaar and Diarra and all the other rumours surrounding the club we might have to wait to see
Benzema landing there. If Roma decides to sign the injured Ruud Van Nilsteroy than Benzema's move to Satiago Bernabeu could happen earlier.
Not too hot but not simply bollocks either
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.
Ashley Young to Real Madrid or Barcelona - Not quite happening. Aston Villa want to secure the lad at least until the end of the season and priced the 23-year old with
modest £30m which forced most interested clubs to back up.
Bush says: Bollocks
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.
David Villa to Manchester City - After Robinho accepting the millions offered by City to leave Champions League habitué Real Madrid to join a
club that flirts with the relegation zone everything is possible. As they say, everyone has a price and the £60 million offered to almost bankrupt Valencia is quite tempting.
Paris insists on saying: That's hot.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now for other transfer rumours and I'll leave it to you to tell me if it's hot or just
Luis Fabiano - from Sevilla to Chelsea
Adriano - from Inter Milan to Chelsea
Michael Owen - from Newcastle to Manchester City
Jermain Defoe - from Portsmouth to Aston Villa
Jimmy Bullard - from Fulham to Totteham Hotspur
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And where will this lads go? Or, will they go anywhere at all?
Roque Santa Cruz - from Blackburn to ?
Michael Turner - from Hull City to ?
Craig Bellamy - from West Ham to ?
Kieran Richardson - from Sunderland to ?
Stewart Downing - from Middlesbrough to ?

The Blues seemed to have lost their "Brazilian momentum". Scolari's lads draw their last two matches and missed a great opportunity to take the lead back from Liverpool. But playing against the weak WBA is the perfect chance to bring back the good performances from the beginning of the season.
The FA officials can already write down the fixtures for the next Coca-Cola Championship season including West Brom Albion. Simply hopeless.
GOBSMACK PREDICTION: Chelsea will crash the Baggies 4-0

No more mistakes allowed for the Blues. At home Scollari's lads have the obligation to win every match until the end of the season and this one shouldn't be different.
The Hammers are sinking slowly into a dangerous situation that might send them back to the Championship if they don't start a resurrection plan right now. I don't think it will be agsint Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but who knows?
GOBSMACK PREDICTION: Chelsea win 3-1Wednesday, 03 December 08, 02:12 AM

On my last post about Bolton I ended up making a confusion with Fulham. Easy to explain: just like the Cottagers the Trotters are also in a good run and with the deficiencies shown by Chelsea on the match against Arsenal anything could be possible on this match.
The obvious result for the Blues would a win and a comfortable one. But the team is not playing with the same flair as they were in the beginning of the season. Time for a Big Phil to give those lads some tough love.
GOBSMACK PREDICTION: Chelsea win 0-2

Chelsea missed the opportunity to open a two-point lead over Liverpool last weekend and now they will host the inconsistent Arsenal. Ballack is fit to play but Deco is out. Rumours of Drogba leaving Old Trafford in January could get in the way of a good performance. In the race for the EPL title every detail make a big difference.
Arsenal is the main prove of that. The team's inability to maintain a streak of good performances and results might have already cost the Gunners their chances to fight for the Premiership title. And if Arsene Wenger's lads don't start putting solid performances the position among the top four clubs in English football could be threatened by Aston Villa, Everton and even Hull City (?).
GOBSMACK PREDICTION: Chelsea win at their fortress: 2-0

The Blues continue their path to reach their objective - the title - and intend to make Newcastle their next victim. Frenchman Nicolas Anelka is flying and if he can maintain the good form we can expect another great win by Chelsea.
Some injuries will certainly be a problem for the Toon squad when they face the best team in the EPL this season. Thug Joey Barton picked a MCL Knee Injury and is out at least until January. Good for football, bad for the Magpies. And after the two good results that made some think that Newcastle was rehearsing a fantastic reaction the team draw and lost in the last two weeks which sent them close to the relegation zone one more time.
GOBSMACK PREDICTION: Chelsea will maintain their top position with a 2-0 win

The Rovers can't win on the road and they can't win at home either. In they last five matches Paul Ince's side only got three points all from draws. What is the solution for Blackburn? Anybody out there with ideas? Send them to Ewood Park att: Paul Ince before it's too late.
Chelsea fans couldn't be happier. Their team not only crashed Sunderland last weekend but also saw Liverpool lose three precious points to Tottenham which put the Blues back at the top of the table. Now they are head to head again and the race is open for the title.
GOBSMACK PREDICTION: Chelsea beat the Rovers 0-2
