Without being hasty...

Tuesday, 10 March 09, 09:37 PM

without being hasty l'd like to talk about what will happen to Arsenal when they go through tomorrow morning my time. The team is shaping up nicely at the moment with Walcott and Eduardo back (if I might point out quickly that throughout this whole season I have been telling everyone that Eduardo will come back and win). And while the Roman defense is punching Robin van Persie, Eduardo will be scoring beach goals.I don't think we have too much to worry about tomorrow morning.

This morning, I watched the Liverpool versus Real Madrid. While I thought the second half wasn't that special, the first 45 minutes was possibly the best football I've seen this year in terms of entertainment.  Now Real Madrid are out and I think it serves them right, just for being the kind of team that they are. Youalso look at Chelsea who won this morning thanks to Michael Essien being back. I would not be happy if Arsenal are drawn against any of those two in the next round. Munich also went through this morning, but I think some Razzle Dazzle football should stitch them up. And I think that we could beat Villareal just because I don't have any supporters, they're always locked out of their stadium, like most clubs in Spain.

Can Inter Milan beat Manchester United? Inter Milan are a very good team, but I just can't see them beating Manchester United. Manchester United are the team to beat right now. A game against Barcelona would be very interesting, Henry playing against the Arsenal and all, but Lyon versus Barcelona will be very interesting tomorrow morning.  The Athletico Porto game could be interesting, but I'll prefer to watch the other ones.

OK, say the unthinkable happens and Totti happens to stop loving himself and puts the ball into the back of the net twice, will Arsenal getting booted from the league be bad?  Yes, due to the loss of extra revenue, but a rest from the gruelling midweek fixture may give us extra time to get ahead in the league, which I think is more important at the moment.

Til next time, The 'bag
