allllll by myself, don't wanna be alll by myself....anymore
i truly hope so, i really like him but he seems to be the exception to the rule with everyone else bucking their ideas up since arry came in.
you have it in the back of your mind, we are going to do someone soon, never in my wildest dreams did i think it would be the skip dwellers.
i thought this would be our leveller, back to reality, concentrate on the league blah, blah......

"The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It's nothing of the kind. The game is about glory. It's about doing things in style, with a flourish, about going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom." Danny Blanchflower
How awesome have we been tonite... lets hope they keep it up in the second half!!!!! I would hate 'pool to pull a champions league final on us.... COYS!
I think we can expect a few changes at half time, bet Rafa wishes Stevie G was on the bench though.
love the fact that out bench is better than theres as well... keep calm son, dont get too excited yet...
Well gents i have to say that megan fox's knickers are doing the job for us so far!!

I expect Carragher will come on for Hyypy the hippo. So it may be necessary to bring Modric on to add to the presssure on their back. Their goalie is pants.

agree with 2DayArry on previous thread, Corluka is doing everything right and the rest are responding....they'll respond and we need to give the ball to Zok so he can backheel it in from 2 yards..BIOYSC

Alan Smith does my fucking nut in. Bale definitely got a bit of the ball against Degen. Biased Arsenal c*nt.

Sorry missed Zokora, ran his socks off for us tonight
I know they made some changes but we made the pool look like mugs.... Can you image us playing like that 3 weeks ago - I mean even KPB looked like he might be able to play when he came on...
I hope we keep campbell in Jan
Now fuck off back to your shantytown, you bindipper cunts.
Come back when you have practiced some more.
out for revenge, fucking hell i would hate to see them really wound up.
We have our Tottenham back, we may even have our Dawson back!

I fucking love Harry Redknapp - Gomez is going for a Chinese and im goign with him!!!!
Gotta love the guy....
lol me again... but has Phil Thompson got the biggest nose in the world ever or what? no wonder he was a good defender, who could get past that nose?
Probably our best performance under Harry, 4-2 flattered them!

Have you heard HJR say one bad word about anyone in the squad? No. PMA.
Did you see the way Harry made sure the Fraser understood how valuable he was when he was subbed off?
He is bringing out the best in people be believing in them. Simple.
I thought KPB look gd for the few minutes he's was on! Maybe Harry's sorted him out also in the short time he's been here!

You know what Bruce, I think you are probably right... I think it also helps that HR can actually talk to the guys and explain what he wants...
How good has Hudd looked under Harry, I knew it had always been there just waiting to come out. His passing has always been amazing but he always looked a bit shy, suddenly he wants the ball and is actually tracking back with his man.
Through out the team the boys suddenly look like they want it.
I was always a litte dubious about Defoe coming back (I loved the guy, but never go back ever), but with Pav, Bent and Campbell I dont think he would get in....
I mean even Zokara suddenly looks like a good player and I didnt think I would be saying that....
Ok before I suddenly start spouting spurs for the league im off to bed!

I have the pleasure of working with a selection of regional london sports fans of high integrity.
1) A gooner from Swindon
2) A Mank armchair expert from....Nigeria
3) a pair of what I would describe as regional pie and mash eating excuses for west-spam fans.(I mean Jellied eels - fuck no)
The general consensus was thus: "Redschnaps was on a final pay check to nowhere, we would be smashed by the spanish car ringing cartel known as LFC 3-1, and that the current form was a mere blip on the radar of the disney world of fantasy Football!!!
My new found confidence in what I believe to be ....a team of new found confidence and direction led me to bet each and everyone of those pricks a tenner a pop that we would not only retain our car stereos across the south east, but that a win would be assured.
I am £40 quid up....COYS. That should cover the cost of a new away top with change spare to buy the old set of brookside.

thought the same, the way he was turning players while going backwards then getting the ball away, fukin magic.
Some of our play was excellent. The movement, fitness, imagination and confidence seemed first-class at times.
In the second half, the dip in our authority and confidence was probably more due to Gomes' errors than an upgrade in 'pool's competence, and we compensated by becoming less free-flowing.
On an unrelated matter, Benitez has little hands, which is slightly creepy.

Most of the problems are poor communication and decision making. As a shot stopper, he's outstanding. Lots of work at the training ground and one or two English language classes needed.

I thought he dithered a bit on their first goal, started to come, decided not too and got caught in no-man's land. Don't get me wrong, I think he'll be good in the end, he's just a little accident prone at the moment.

It's just dawned on me what this Respect Campaign is all about. Every time I have Sky Sports on in the background I hear 'Respect this' and 'Respect that', and I think, 'What the fcuk are they going on about? Respect? Respect what?'
But, of course, it's Respect Redknapp. Respect. Is. Due.
Did we just win with Bale in the team?!
2-1, 4-2: Rafa = 'Arry's bunny
Prediction: This year's League Cup Final will be a repeat of the 1962 FA Cup Final.
Get in again! Considering weeks ago I was quite prepared to watch us submit our way out of all competitions in order to see us simply fight our way out of the relegation scrap - well, I'm in awe after that. Except for Heurelho's "odd behaviour" when confronted with one of those corner thingies.
Some of the movement was simply sublime. Pav's touch reminded me of Teddy, except he's a bit taller and with a bit more pace! I actually do think he could be that intelligent. Outstanding performances from most of the team, really. Redknapp is the man!

You are right. What has happened to Jock and Taff. Jock seems unable to jump for corners.
Also can someone tell O'Hara he's not a great taker of corners or free kicks.
Pav is starting to look handy but the boy who really seems on the money is Corluka. He gets stronger and stronger.

Corluka played with the assurance and steely determination of the entire Roman Army marching in on a bunch of soon to be unlucky Visigoths.
Pav is all class. That gentlemen is a classic twenty goals a season scorer. Luck, power, instinct and a naughty smile all rolled up in a large bottle of extra fine, senior politburo members only, vodka.
And Lennon *gasp* - a final ball in like Beckham in his prime and consistently torturing the opposition like he was hand trained by Torquemada himself....
What a glorious night!
Just nicked this quote from sky sports page
"Nick Stone (Liverpool fan) says...
Yet again the manager has tinkered with the team and we have been humiliated by a london team. It may be the Carling cup, but what about Liverpool pride. We were shown to look like a bunch of muppits...."

Good Morning Gentlemen,
I could get used to all this winning!!!
Was Robbie Keane watching? I hope so. He may feel a little silly this morning, being goaded by those who used to adore him must be a bitter pill to swallow.
If Romans song were "From Russia With Love" i'd gladly belt that out from the Park Lane, people used to coin the phrase "he plays with a smile on his face" for Dwight Yorke, Rom's smile seems to light up White Hart Lane on a regular basis these days and long may it continue.
Continuing on the Bond theme, Huttons (who played much better second half - dont forget the lads pre-season was ruined) song should be "A Licence to Kilt" works on many levels
Yid-i-Oh!

Great win but with the opposition yet again playing into our hands, this time by using their B team. We can however, only beat what's put in front of us and boy did we beat them.
Next eight league matches:
fulham @ home
blackburn away
everton away
west ham @ home
manure @ home
newcastle @ home
fulham away
west brom @home
That takes us to january. All but one of those teams look eminently beatable and even manure should get a good game from us at ours and after even more time for the squad to gel, tighten up and grow further in confidence under the blokey spell of 'Arry's fatherly wing.
None of the above teams will be putting out a second eleven and most will present a more traditionally bullish and resilient premiership challenge; then we'll see whether our newly confident team can keep a good balance between organised team defending and fluid forward passing, while under pressure or when facing a tough nut.
Keeping momentum is key, I see a Uefa cup place on the distant horizon.
Go on the Spurs.
