Well the patient is up and around and talking to others on the ward.

The early indications are that Senior Consultant Surgeon Levy's move to operate late last night was a shrewd and perhaps life saving decision.

The prognosis is a slow and steady course of common sense which may yet result in a complete recovery.

Matron Redschnapps tonight confirmed that Tottingham Hotspurs had gone from a Sick As A Parrot condition to being cautiously Over The Moon.

Harry

Your view on today's game?? I thought it was well deserved and the midfield 5 had a blinder.

Modric & Hudd - much maligned characters i know played brilliantly today. Modric playing behind Pav or Bent is definitely the way forward. I'd still like to see us move back to 4-4-2 but we have to play with what we have at the moment.

Harry has worked his magic not even 24hrs into his new job. Mr Redknapp, I salute you.

i can see how people think Gomes played badly..

but when you look at it he dealt with everything..

i think he's been our signing of the season so far.. although Mod might take that mantle if he keeps this up..

He is how to put it nicely..............

Bizarre.

Comes for everything, flaps at alot of it. Causes Ledley to backpedal when he thunders out of his box. Still class and easily a much better keeper than anyone we've had for years. But he is bizarre!

On a good note. He didn't knock any of his own players out today!! =D

The bottom line is......... who cares, we've won a game, we have 3 points and we are looking good to take on the scummers on Wednesday night.

He just comes for everything, no matter how far or how many people are in the way.

Redknapp is a great appointment because I believe that he understands Spurs. The contents of the letter from the much maligned Levy were also interesting + brief interview on SSN.He took decisive action last night.

Lets hope January brings new strikers, defensive midfielder, left midfielder and a centre back. Bye Bye Zokora,Jenas (captain my arse!), Assou-Ekotto, Boateng, Ghaly, Rocha et al.

Ramos and Poyet will both not be out of work for long. Comolli should give up on football altogther as he clearly knows nothing on the subject.

Haven't had the pleasure of witnessing our usual slot on MOTD2 yet... Although the boys at Radio London did a good job.

Chuffed by the result and that our two strikers both scored.

What was encouraging was that threat of our midfield boys taking pot shots and generally getting amongst it in the shape of Modders, Bentley and the Hudd.

Rock & Roll.

I liked how Harry gave our entire midfield license to move around and find space. Modric has been outstanding all year, he just has had so few touches - today, we had players around him capable of delivering him the ball and a system that compliments him well.

I hope everybody doesn't get ahead of themselves with the win. It's great to get our first 3 points, but Harry has a ton of work on his hands.

We were not stable on defence, lost a lot of headers in the box, Bolton had too many good looks at goal and Gomes was a complete mess clearing crosses.

On the offense side, there were way too many turnovers, not much movement off the ball, and again very little quality service near the box. JJ was very energetic and ran his tail off, but couldn't complete a pass and lost the ball just about every time he tried to dribble. Bentley had a perfect pass on the goal, but was dreadful the rest of the game. Bad decisions every time he touched the ball; all but one touch led to a turnover. His best position appears to be somewhere on the bench.

While we were awful attacking up our right, going down the left we were superb. O'Hara, Lennon and Ekotto all had outstanding games. Even though Bolton overloaded their midfield to their side, they were unable to slow our attack down at all.

I'm eager to watch a set of good coaches actually make corrections/adjustments this week. COYS!

They've been tracking you Jamie. It's simple to monitor how much time one person's pc is connected to a particular site and yours must've been through the roof! Simple trick, find an external proxy server site and route your traffic through them - its likely that they will not have blocked that unless they've blocked to everything but specific sites and aren't just targeting you.

"Harry came in and told the players 'you are good players but it's about confidence'. He believes we can get out of it and we responded. You saw a different us today.

"The players seem to have a weight off their shoulders today for some reason. That was more like us.

"We weren't expecting Juande Ramos to go, especially the day before the game.

We need a top drawer ball winner in midfield and a new forward. Minimum

Defoe and Diarra

22m

when's arshavin coming? what about villa and veloso?

;) seeing as you got the direct line into Levy, and persuaded him to sack bmj, juande and that cnut comolli, I was just thinking that arshavin maybe back on the cards. If it happens, I'm blaming you! =D Look at me all happy that Hazza Redschnapps is in, and I wanted us to stick with BMJ and Ramos!

JGM - Diarra would be a dream. I think O'Hara will be the answer long term, but we need some experience now and hopefully someone that can teach O'Hara and Thudd the ins and outs of reading opposing offenses and shutting down passing lanes.

After today's match, I think a lot of us might be wanting to add a keeper to that list. It will be interesting to see if/how Harry ties Gomes down. He's an outstanding reflex keeper, but is terrifying when he leaves his line.

Listen I'm no conspiracy theorist but......

ramos comes over. He finds that the prem is tougher to deal with than he thought. Things are made worse by selling two of our best players in the summer and not replacing them. He's not impressed with the DoF or fond of England, thinks "fcuk this for a lark and wants to go home. He doesn't want to lose out on squillions or be asked for compensation. He deliberately confuses the players, swapping them contantly, not letting them know who's playing until the last minute and makes little attempt to communicate in English. The players get pissed off; we go to to hell in a handcart in record time. He inevitably gets sacked. He can now go home. With 10 mil.

Worth the effort and knock to his rep?

I'll say.

Ok, maybe I am a conspiracy theorist.

Trembly,
You've got me at it now:

At last, our Harry's come along,
Our losing days are over,
And life is a Spurs song.

At last, for lillywhite & blue,
Comolli's gone to Dover
'Cos Dan has said he's through.

We've found a shape to win three points with,
A shape that Wendy's never, never known.

We smile and though we are in last
We really are in heaven
Cos Harry's here at last.

It was a whole lot better today in that we played like a team and won comfortably in the end but allowed them far too much time in our half.

A mate described JJ thus " Sometimes he's Dr Jenas and sometimes Mr Hide ". He started well and did a reasonable job in the first half as our defensive midfielder but in the second half he vanished and Bolton benefited .

Bentley was much better and Pav is starting to look the business but today's star was Modric. He is real class and chases down everything.

For all you turnips who think Robbo is really better than Gomes I suggest the following :

1. Try and get hold of some videos of Robbo's performances over the last 2 years.

2. Try and come to more of our matches.

3. Visit your local optician.

Oh, and we need a special song for Harry cos Harry Redknaps blue and white army just does not scan.

Have to admit, he does look the most uncomfortable of our previous managers in that suit and tie!

i think harry may go bak for diarra, defoe and kranjcar, all for about 40m, ouch!
on top of that he'll be looking for perhaps another striker and an experienced cb

Gomes may not be able to catch, punch or kick, but he has incredible reaction time for someone his size and is very quick to both his left and right. You can't teach that! Harry will teach him the rest.

I must be coming down with something because I think this is the first time in 3 years I've agreed with dannyboy on anything.

OneDaveMackay - Bentley better? Besides the one great pass for the assist, please describe another pass from Bentley that made it to another Spurs player? Or how about any positive play on offense? I don't think he had another cross that landed within 20 yards of a Spurs player. He showed his true colors on the 4 on 2 where he dribbled the length of the field and blasted the ball into the defender. He was the worst player on the pitch. Great comments otherwise, as usual.

Daytripper - take a day trip somewhere and fuck off. I really fail to understand why people constantly berate any new player; he's played 7 premier league games, 2 in his favoured position? Give the bloke a break.

And by using words like 'offense' (we say attacking or going forward) you are a clearly an overweight, loud mouthed, obnoxious American so stick with your NFL if you can't say anything remotely intelligent.
