Jenas And Pointy Shouty Bloke Both Out

Tuesday, 11 November 08, 02:33 PM · Comments (38)

Word just in from the training ground that Jemaine Jenas is very unlikely to feature in tomorrow's Carling Cup game against Bindipper FC.

The problem is toe shaped and one that has required holes drilled into the nail in order to release the pressure build up. Dependent upon how he responds to treatment it is felt he could even miss the Fulham game too.

Elsewhere, the most heavily substituted knacker in the history of substituted knackers looks certain to be benched by Benitez.

"People talk about big names playing but it is more important to talk about good players and we will have good players playing in the Carling Cup." said the most successful Mariachi player to have ever managed a Premiership side.

Yes Piltdown man, he means to rest you and unleash the proven and consequently feared Torres on us.

Perhaps Jenas' misfortune will be Bostock's good fortune.

We win this we're through to the 1/4 final (or two games from Wembley!)Lets see another good performance, hopefully no Gerrard is a positive for us (not arsed about PSB, not that good for em anyway) Also fingers crossed no Mascherano and no Carragher help give us a gentle ride into the last eight. Bostock to get a run would be a good shout along with one or two others, but not at the expense of the players that have been performing (Thud, Modders - neither has played 90 mins every week so shouldn't need a rest). I want to see our unbeaten run keep going, get the confidence up to top level etc.

Sir Harold.

I feel I must protest in the strongest possible terms against the use of a photograph of my niece Claudia Winklestrangler as the Atavar of Mr. TMWNN.

As you well know Claudia has only recently left the Convent Of The Sacred Seven Sisters and is finding it hard enough to adjust to normal sex without having to deal with unwanted publicity such as this.

I trust you will deal with this without further delay.

I would expect a few of our first eleven to be rested - the League Cup is a pretty pointless competition now that you can't get a EUFA place out of it. No point risking an injury. We are still facing a long slog to stay up in the league

Sir,

I believe you may be confusing his Lordship with my client, His Lordship, Orchestral Manhooversinda-Darke.

My Lord wishes me to advise that his daughters Enola and Joan are not and never have been attendees of COTSSS. In fact they have undertaken missionary work in the Arndale Shopping Centre, Wandsworth.

Nick, Camelia Toe? Where can we get more of this lovely?

TMWNN, not fair. Gratuitous booty. I am awaiting her call...

ger. Luka-loopy indeed. The next Hoddle? As long as he doesn't have that air of being too good for the team (c.f. Teddy interview).

A second string midfield with Torres up top is still dangerous. They're also mentioning giving N'gog a run out - he looked quite a hot prospect in their pre-season games. Have they got more strength in depth than we have? I'd have to begrudgingly say yes. We have our shining lights of course, our new diamond lights, but we've still got a fair way to go before we have two teams capable to challenging. It's going to take time, money and a lucky 4th placed finish to pull some of the talent that would otherwise not look at us realistically.

Is the Arndale Centre still open? 8O

A second...

Agree with you Trembly re the 2's of the YSB's, however Liverpool without (as Mclaren would put it) "Shhtevie G" are only half the team. Hopefully Carragher won't play and I hear Reina won't play (did anyone else notice how dodgy this golden gloves winner was in the 2nd half against us? absolute pish and yet all you get is 'dodgy Gomes' comments!)

Anyhow another Spurs win would go down a treat! COYS

ps DV - I'm with you from the other day, I think Jaime's pulled! ;)

Nah, Pav to bag a hatful with Carragher to make it six with two 25-yard own goals.

Torres to limp of with a broken neck, and Samways will finally get his chance in place of the impressive Steve Sedgley.

Personally I believe the league is more important thn anything else at the moment and given only 7 points seperate 7th to 20th we still have a good chance of getting up there. I would therefore give the fringe players a chance to prove their worth tonight, and on that basis we can rest the 1st teamers and I would go with the following

Sanchez
Stalteri Dervite Rocha Gilberto

O'hara
Ghaly Bostock

Taarabt Boateng

Campbell

Rafa doesn't want to play Keano really because he knows Keano turning up at WHL could have a psychological effect on him (like last time)and this is not what Liverfool want right now that he's started scoring for 'em!
