Spurs In For Jar Jar Binks?

Monday, 09 June 08, 05:02 PM · Comments (54)

Meessa imbecile, That's why you no liking us meesa thinks

It is my unhappy duty to inform you that rumours are in circulation from FTL and even Spurs Odious that we are in for the man pictured above. It's even been suggested that there is even a medical taking place...today.

Now it is well known that Ferdinand is a stale DC project that didn't come to fruition under BMJ and frankly I find the news a bit depressing. I think I'm right he's a couple of years left on his contract so I might guess he'll come in at maybe... £6 million?

I appreciate we cannot for a number of reasons do a Cheatski and buy the absolute numero uno player in the whole wide world for every spot. But by the same token, I hereby question the soundness of Pint Jar Binks. A club that was 'plagued with pessimism' and riddled with players, who did not run their hearts out every game and now we are linked with this two bob alchofrolic card sharp.

Marvellous. I could weep. Maybe it's a smokescreen. Well let's hope someone's been smoking something...

Woodgate, GDS and Modric for a start, not to mention Rose, Bostock, Dervitte and other youngsters, some of whom may well make the 1st team over the next 2/3 seasons. What a moronic statement! I don't like his demeanour either, but he's not doing a terrible job right now is he? You either credit him with the signings or don't, not just the ones that don't work.

To be fair I am NOT a fan of Ferdinand's at all, but my Hammers mate isgutted he might leave. Reckons he's a good player. In fairness, he is probably still better than Daws and Kaboul, which is the main issue.

i doubt woody and gds and modric were his signings, they have all come out and said they signed once they spoke to ramos, rose i have to admit looks decent, cant comment on bostock yet to see him play

Isn't this the same story they ran last week?? Didn't want him then and still don't want him
now.He makes LOTS of mistakes and isnt a great tackler, and sometimes needs to be carried through a game. sure you could argue that hes young he can learn however Kaboul is better and has more potential and Daws is a mile and a half better then Jar Binks. Even some west ham fans are desperate to off load THE GREAT JAR BINKS!!!!.

WTF! Please God, no. I just don't understand the thinking behind this move, no better than the other below par CBs we have, surely Ramos can see this too. And have you noticed that for every Comolli hater there's a Comolli lover?

I was speaking to two mates both season tickets holders at numpton park, at the weekend, over a couple of cold ones to see us through the sudden arrival of summer. They were rubbing their hands together with glee at the thought of getting £6m for the useless sack of sh*t.

Firstly don't want ferdinand ,don't think he's any better than Dawson(which aint good) secondly i'm no commoli lover but people can't keep having it both ways, everyone knows the system ,they all have a say but Ramos gives the yes or no,therefore if he signs Ramos gave it the ok,so lets stop the good signing Ramos ,bad signing Commoli crap

I think the key phrase in all of the above, is that he isnt as good as Dawson. He has great moments, but I hope Levy isnt buying players straight off the showreel, cause if thats the case, even I could play for spurs :P. Maybe we want him to entertain everyone in the changing rooms? cant think of of anything hed be better at (stoopidity does it for some)

I don't think he's as good as Dawson or Kaboul who I still think could become a very decent player. But more than anything he's so ugly and we have always had a reputation for good looking players. Traditionally, all ugly bastards used to join the Goons.

What a crock of shite. Definitely don't want him...not that what I want will have any bearing on who we actually get.

For me, since the signing of Dos Santos, the transfer speculation doesn't matter now. Any other players we get from now on will either be a pleasant suprise or an utter disapointment.

Do we really expect anymore big name signings any time soon HH?

i'd prefer a fully fit Tony G over Jar Jar. this is awful transfer news the worst since we were consistantly linked with Michael Ricketts (anyone remember him?) before boro came to the rescue on there red and white donkey

Crumbs, this is the worst transfer news since Michael Bridges and/or John Hartson.

I have a couple of spam mates, one of whom is a season ticket holder and he does not rate him whatsoever, cant say he has particularly impressed whenever ive seen him either. Hes too short for a start - a la Rocha/Perry although taller than the latter.

I wonder if it's too much to assume that Steed will be stepping into the A.N.Other CM role.

Yes, it makes it a bit punchy punchy and no blocky blocky, but if Thuddle isn't going to play the full 90, then he's my fave CM out of those on offer...

Great to see you haven't found your sense of humour, Mr Smith.. It was rather a comment on Arcnibald's second MEDICAL ON... that never happened and a pointer (which you'll probably choose to ignore) that I do have my 'own' sources. Sources beyond your boy DO exist. And none of them had any interest in this cobblers.

I published because it's fun and I just couldn't resist the headline.

And for the love of God, do fuck off with thge theft schtick, dear.

Phew!...thats a relief! apparently the club "have denied that a move for (Mr Binks) is imminent"...but I would be happier if we had an unambiguous "we have NO interest at all" statement frankly.

Also I've had enough of all this ITK dick measuring....so Smith get this straight, we don't care who said it first..we don't care if your mate is Damians rent boy ...we come here cos we like it...we don't go to your snooty site cos it's PANTS...and besides we don't need to go there cos Harry will let us know if you randomly come up with something interesting...only he will make us laugh when he tells us about it. You on the other hand just leave us shaking our heads..in fact you remind me of some of the pathetic gooner twats I know...so "go large" with that and beat it you sad little man!

Sorry Harry not my usual standards...but he got me goat mate ;-)

No, seriously, I am not being sarcy at all. I am genuinely grateful for the publicity. Several more applicants this morning.

I am beginning to think of this as a second home

I DO NOT consider my site to be anything special. It DOES just happen to have one of the best Spurs ITKs on the web, which Harry has so often been only too grateful to lift and spread around.

Trouble is, Spurs have cottoned on to the leakage of info, and I think the Ferdinand story was one of their definite duff feeds - which is why I did not give it the extra publicity it has had here.

I don't think I have ever abused HH, which unfortunately has not been the case in my direction, which is a fact I never enjoy

I really am moving to the position where I appreciate the extra publicity

Paul, do you think anyone on HH gives a crap what you think, let alone are concerned about your own web-site related sensitivities? Stop cluttering up the place and sod off back to your own
precious site.

Spurs ITKs; Don't make me laugh.

"Spurs have cottoned on to the leakage of info, and I think the Ferdinand story was one of their definite duff feeds..." Both
hilarious and delusionary.
