Didn't plan to go last night, but managed to duck out of work early and got a seat in the Paxton end.

Handbags on a massive scale. Away fans in the home end, the cheek of it. We've never tried that one before. They were a bit brazen mind, the Poles are obviously not akin to keeping their emotions on the inside, not with bellies full of Polish piss anyhow.

As for the game - barely acceptable/shit.

With all the Polish in England, the Wisla's might have though this a home fixture!

I reckon they're happier with this result than we should be; yes its a win, but they've come over and leave with an away goal and only one down.

One spot of good news is Bent scoring again..... I really don't care if they deflect in off his foot (Villa) as long as they go in and his confidence stays up there.

Now we need to beat Wigan or we will not only be bottom, but adrift at the bottom!

How did Gunter do?

Been reading for ages, first time writing. I was in the north stand upper tier tonight and i felt like i was in the away section. whether it's the fault of the spurs box office or internet touts, there was trouble in every corner of the ground tonight. Krakov fans had a reputation coming into tonights game, but one no worse than english fans. I understand, with every spurs fan, the frustration of our situation. Ballague is right, Ramos needs more time to implement his philosophy. Bentley on the right, giovanni to start always, and don't ever let dawson on the pitch again. COYFSBIOYWC

There was one occasion I remember Jenas picking the ball up looking up and seeing nothing, no movement, nobody looking for the ball. He passed it backwards, threw his hands in the air as if to say what the f*ck are you doing! Then ran into space to pick up a return pass from the back, ran forward with the ball, laid it off to Bale (I think) then drove forward again for the return. This bit of play resulted in the offside goal (wrongly given).
To me this was exactly what we've needed and showed someone taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Could this be the first signs of the leader we've been missing?
It is still not enough of him, but I would like to mention this as he looks our best player this year. This from a man widely criticised in previous campaigns from his own fans, if this is not a sign of some minerals and someone showing character I don't know what is.

Jenus was by far our best player, he was the only player who actually wanted the ball! We also looked so much better with Zok at right back imo offered a lot more help to bentley.

What's with the booing of Bentley by the way? His crossing wasn't the best but he still put in a few excellent deliveries and never stopped trying all night!

Gio was disappointing but he looks more like a winger than a forward to me, Campbell and Bent linked well straight away! I would be tempted to start them 2 against wigan and use Pav as a sub!

He may have "never stopped trying" but if I was on the pitch I'd never stop trying either.
Its not enough sometimes. We got him for ÂŁ15m+ to put in good crosses and corners, his set pieces yesterday were awful. Bale should be taking them all until he sorts himself out. My personal opinion is that he's not fit and its affecting his crossing as he tires.

Morning,
A couple of observations from last night:
Firstly, Darren Bent. The boy ran his bollocks off last night, tackling back when we lost the ball and winning more than his fair share in the air (nobody near enough to him to capitalize on his knock downs, but that's not his fault) capping it all off with the winning goal. That's three goals in three games now, yet judging by comments in the stands, he's become the figurehead of everything that's wrong with the club. Some 'supporters' are bemoaning his lack of flair or Berb-like first touch. Granted, he's not the prettiest player to watch but he's effective so get off his back and support your team.
Secondly, shame on the five hooded thugs who jumped the solitary Krakow fan outside the ground who had the audacity to have a good sing song despite his team losing. Your mothers must be proud. Nuff respec' to the Spurs fan who let them know that they were cowards though. You're a braver man than I.
Oh, and that C*mpb*ll chap looks a bit lively.

Spurs are a disgrace, rapidly falling out of love....

Spurs are like having a stunning cheating missus. You know she's f*cking you over but you love her and you think if you hang around long enough and accept her wayward ways she will eventually love you back. In reality everyone is just laughing at you!

Jenas had an adequate game at best, if that's the yard stick, we're fucked.

I think the trouble with Jenas is that, due to our lack of quality CMs, he tries to be Jack of all trades, but ends up being master of none.

It's a shame, the lad can obviously play and a more defined role might perhaps be the answer to his lack of consistency.

Rudolph to turn him into a Gerrard within two seasons.

STOP MOANING ALL OF YOU, we should have won 3-1 and put some amazing moves together. Yes, we messad around at the back for the goal, but all in all I think it was a night to be happy with.

We're fighting back from rock bottom with every other team on our backs and baying for blood. ANY WIN is what we needed, and we should have won 3-1. (Typical Spurs to get our best goal disallowed).

I just wish people would stop criticising this, moaning about that, just because it makes them feel big, like they could do a better job.

If you're going to moan about the team we all love, BE POSITIVE ABOUT IT! Everyone's always looking for the negative and it's that attitude that makes it harder and harder to get out of these situations.

Anyone who knows a bit about psychology will know the power of becoming the way you think. - If we keep telling our players they are sh*t and we hate them, then they will play sh*t and we will hate them, if we tell them they are great and we love them, maybe, just maybe, they'll play brilliantly and we'll love them. :D
