Good morning, fight fans.
Managed to watch the game with the sound off in a pub heaving with Scousers. That said, we were only twenty minutes from Bindipper Central and they were an entirely charming gang. Of course, the twit bar manager decreed we had to watch the game to the exotic strains of non descript dance musak, but such is the way of Friday night friendlies, I guess.
One a piece it was, then. I remember that much. That and the fact the taxi driver got a bit arsey about me still having glass of wine in my paw as I attempted to board his luxurious Vauxhall Verruca.
Arry worries me. 4-5-1 with Defoe? No, no and thrice nay. Livermore took his goal well, the ball in from A&E was superb in its own right. PSB caused much joy in the boozer. His arrival on screen was greeted with a happy cry of Hey, it's Pointy Shouty Bloke! Cue an immeadiate close up of him wagging his finger and shaking his head at a linesman.
How good is Sgt Wilson? How little did we pay for him? This guy is a sensation. Vote Wilson.
The venerable ODM was right and the boy Naughton looks to be good stuff. Oh yes and Billy Wingrove is the business. So buy his DVD HERE
There was a vicious rumour going around that Jenas played last night, but I simply don't buy it. But the big big big gossip of the morning comes from the loose lips of last night. Bent in Refused To Play shocker. Apparently he was told he wouldn't need to worry himself about a Visa - as you don't need one to go to Sunderland.
So there you have it. Right. I'm off for a shower, to look for an all day breakfast and something that might get a stain resembling a map of New Zealand out of this carpet.

The player being offered is second year youth player, Adrià Carmona Pérez. The proposal was that the player comes as a transfer or even perhaps on loan. The boy is said to be a senasation on the European under 17 scene. A true left footed left winger with fantasic pace and technique. A great dribber with good vision. Not mt words, but those of futball.com. The offer came into The Lane this week and more proof that Tottenham's profile under the new regime has been significantly raised.

He's laughed us off.
He dropped the bombshell speaking yesterday candidly on Cameroonian telly "Tottenham, and the British club will have to forgive me for saying this, are mid-table and I need more"
I would ordinarily greet such and similar pronouncements with a swift and snarly 'Well sod you too, son!" But this fair enough comment from King Of The Kickaballs. We as fans are in the same boat. We want more too.
Eto'o went on to say that there had been a lack of running at Barca over the past two seasons, and effectively the showboating over effort had cost them as a result (sound familiar, anyone?). Clearly he means it or WHL would have been an obvious move.
God knows what Ronaldinho will say of City... Or will Taksin's lolly prove more powerful than league placings?
