No match yesterday means I am really struggling for content on the TerrasBlog at the moment. But I thought I would take the opportunity to post so at least you all still know I am out there and breathing!
It is frustrating to watch chums over at Arseblog and Barcablog brimming with match analysis and transfer gossip.
In a way not having tons of stuff to blog about has been a bonus. There is so much wedding planning going on at the moment that I would think football could be an obstruction getting in the way of discussing boquet colours! ha ha it's not that bad but the mid winter break Terras are getting is a nice opportunity to take some time away from the Blue Square Premier and I have spent the weekend following the Premiership.
Thankfully Arsenal banged in a late winner against the despicable Bolton Wanderers and Manchester United currently lead Chelsea.
Having spent some time away from watching the top division in England (due to my well documented issues with greed and the erosion of club identities) I have to say it has been refreshing to get some minutes in watching the best players in the world.
You might be expecting me to have a giggle at the expense of our near neighbours Dorchester Town. Only a few weeks ago they were rumoured to have been taking over our club in a merger. Now their entire squad is available for transfer and a 50% pay reduction is in the offer for those that remain.
I am now struggling to think of a south coast senior football club that isn't in some kind of trouble over money or ground ownership.
From Brighton, through Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth to Weymouth it seems the readies are at a premium in this credit crunch.
I have no idea what the answer is but with Weymouth not playing again this weekend I have the opportunity to catch up on a mountain of ironing. BlogCast to come on Tuesday of this week...

An exiles rants about the off field goings on in Weymouth, and occasionally football!
