...or holiday in Weymouth.

I am just about over the performance against Histon last weekend. Seriously I am going to stay away having seen only one Terras win in about three seasons now.

Saturday evening was rescued somewhat by bumping into JHMBE and Alan Lewer in a restaurant car park. I was amazed that they had heard of TerrasBlog!!! but despite my best efforts to get a quote and new strapline for the site from JHMBE, this was the best I could do.

"John, I am James from TerrasBlog. Do you read the site at all?"

"Sorry, no."

So there you have it, officially John Hollins doesn't read TerrasBlog.

I left him in the door way answering questions from a fan who had travelled down from Doncaster for the match, but did have a proper little chat in the bar. It was very pleasant and I have to say we have a very charismatic manager in JHMBE. Now piss off Woking and find someone else you want to court for your manager.

Thankfully there was no-midweek action as I wouldn't have been able to face it, so painful was my Saturday Wessex Experience. It was nice to spend some time back in Weymouth fishing and relaxing, I hope it wont be too long before I make it back for another match.

On to today and a point against a strong Burton Albion side at the Pirelli Stadium. I must admit I wasn't expecting too much from this one, but in typical Weymouth style we managed to defy the odds and get a point from a match we weren't likely to get anything from.

In other good news, despite not having received anything from the club as yet there are two prizes in my house for the "Beat the Blogger" competition.

Two England replica football shirts to celebrate Anton Robinson's call up to England C. One of them (the home one) is marked up with Robinson 8 on the back. I will get a picture uploaded onto the site in the next few days, but you only have until the end of September to send in your photos (of you in an exotic location in a Weymouth shirt or with some merchandise) to have a chance of winning.
