Terras Chairman Ian Ridley has hit back at critics of both the club and himself in an article published in the Dorset Echo yesterday.
Ridley is still actively seeking the investment needed to keep the club going until the start of the season. He went on to add that...
“...what is increasingly draining and tiring is people with separate agendas wanting this club to fail and wanting some of the personalities within the club to fail.
“I don’t why that is but you can easily become side-tracked by that if you are not careful.
“Now, I am not going to pretend to be happy with some of the things I have discovered at the club but things do change by the week."
Absolutely. Some of the nonsense that has reached my ears 225 miles away from Weymouth has made me want to laugh and cry in equal measure.
So here it is. After claiming the moral high ground of impartiality for over 5 years of TerrasBlog's existence I am now going out on a limb.
I am backing the board.
Will this lose me readers? perhaps but most people have judged me already so I am not too bothered about that.
Will some of my sources dry up? of course I have picked a side now.
Have you made a choice and are you backing the board?
