TerrasBlog 17/11/2008

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz Its been a long trip back to Hull from Amsterdam. It was an excellent weekend and despite being utterly knackered, I am ready and rested to face the week!

One thing that the trip did make me appreciate is the lovely harbour area that Weymouth has. Hull was ok, but Europoort Rotterdam was like something from outer space. Not great. Fortunately the bus whisked us on to the Dutch capital fairly quickly.

Weymouth- It could be Rotterdam or anywhere, Liverpool or Rome

The boat trip also gave me the chance to see some fairly low quality antics from any number of Brits abroad. Getting so hammered you can't stand up on a family filled cross channel ferry is obviously nothing new (although it was to me) and the bouncers fishing people off the dance floor for trying to start violence was bizarre.

Anyway rewind to Saturday and it was sat on board that vessel that the news of our home defeat to Wrexham reached my ears. I wasn't surprised to be honest.  The club is clearly in freefall and the image shown below from the official club website sums it up.

I will get into the detail and down and dirty tomorrow, when I hope to get the TerrasBlogCast together, recorded and uploaded in one night (as well as cycling training)... wish me luck!
