TerrasBlog 18/06/2009 - Ian let out of the Hutch...

Ian Hutchinson has left the Bridport Town managers post to replace Exeter bound Andy Tillson as Weymouth assistant.

Terras supremo Matt Hale acted quickly to replace Tillson after his shock departure for Exeter on Monday night. After a curt statement on the matter the club has now released a more lengthy, friendly document on his leaving. So maybe I was wrong to say that he had annoyed them by bailing out before a ball had been kicked this season!

What I do know is that after the master stroke of bringing Hale back to the Terras, Ian Ridley has followed it up with another after sanctioning a move for Hutchinson.

Those of you with good memories will remember him being in the frame for the actual managers job and he came out of that process with his repuation greatly enhanced (as if it could go much higher with Terras supporters!).

I am hopeful that this appointment will bear fruit with a legends duo at the managerial helm and hopefully now the dissenting voices who have been bemoaning the fact that we are just last seasons Team Bath in different coloured shirts will shut up now.

It is great to see the number of fans on the forum who are outshouting those who are cynical about the clubs board of directors. I am fully with them. 100%

I am backing the board and if you are a genuine lover of the club I would expect that you are too.
