Back from Bristol...
Sometimes you hope that other clubs fans can lift their team to great heights and memorable performances when they take on your bitter rivals.
Saturday wasn't a case of this and I was left texting my Hereford supporting mate as his side slipped to defeat against Yeovil. It was a simple message worth recounting on todays blog...
"Your team are sorrowful chumps. How could they do this to me?"
And I am sure all of us in Terrasland agree.
On to the mighty men in claret and blue and you have to say it was another surprise result at Broadhall Way on Saturday. My access to the match was limited to the last 20 minutes on Soccer Saturday but by all accounts we did ok and it was nice to end our Stevenage hoodoo.
Michael Malcolm deserves a second chance and his goal will have started to repay the faith JHMBE has shown in him and the patience the club displayed all summer whilst he was trying to join another club.
It's nice now to have a midweek break and the gaffer can start to focus his troops on Lewes who are next up. Traditionally this is the sort of match we would struggle in. Great performance against one of the leagues bigger clubs, followed up by a lame home performance against a supposed minnow. My prediction will be coming later in the week!!!
Right I am off to brave the rain and get to work.
Enjoy your day.
