2009 - Pre season draws closer

It remains an interesting time to be a Terras fan despite all of the vitriol regarding off field matters last week.

It all seems a bit quiet on the off field front which either means (a) nothing has happened or (b) it is sorted short term and we are pending an announcement.

Remember it isnt too long ago a director of the club let slip that a sponsorship deal was in the offing.

It wont be who I predicted though. So I am 0/1 on that.

What I do know is reasonably reassuring for fans although there are bound to be some who find controversy when it comes to elements of the clubs sponsorship.

I have decided not to get all bent out of shape when people disagree with absolutely everything the club tries to do to save itself.

"You can't please all of the people all of the time" my Gran used to say. Some people cant be pleased any of the bloody time in South Dorset!!!

Either way I remain backing the board and it has been interesting to see that in the main, many others have followed.

Of course something like the pay off of Marcus Browning will have some fans negative and some positive. I would of course, point them to his record at the Wessex but no matter.

Let's hope for some players today eh?
