Divisive as ever, Weymouth Football Club has launched its stadium vision document to the usual chorus of both cheers and boos... as you would expect.

I have covered a lot of ground yesterday and I wont repeat my views to avoid accusations of brow beating my readership(!). The current Chairman of the club though has made his position very clear. We need to move to survive.

The issue remains the ownership of the stadium and the fact that supporters of our club are, rightly, keen to know who will be rightful owner of the keys will be. That is absolutely the right question to ask and I hope the powers that be at the club will be honest and open in answering that.

If the news is bad and that to continue trading the Wessex has had to be sold off, then I am big enough to face that, if it isn't dressed up in spin.

I think we all know that our financial position isn't too flush, but that is the case for most clubs at our level, so let's not kid ourself and get on and survive.

I can't wait for the weekend and the top of the table clash with Cambridge. It will be nice for some football to break out and get our minds off new stadiums and the like. It will be a real test of character for the lads after their bank holiday setback and I will be interested to see how JHMBE rallies his troops after a really bad result against Forest Green.

Finally belated congratulations to Captain Anton Robinson who has been named in the England C team for their upcoming fixture in Serbia. To say Anton is much improved would be an understatement and I am sure I speak for all supporters of the club when I say how proud I am of his achievement.
