For once it is TerrasBlog under pressure as opposed to Weymouth FC.
We are off on our out of season break, so the blog will not be updated (unless I can find an internet cafe) until 14th July. And that is at the earliest because the hapless Virgin Media seem intent on buggering up my tv phone and broadband. No mean feat.
Anyhow, I just wanted to have a quick round up on what is going on in Terras land before hitting the beach.
Manager Matthew Hale has told the Dorset Echo that he is looking for some firepower now having secured both defenders and midfielders so far this window. The squad are coming back in for training and encouraingly there are going to be 25-30 players involved and looking to play for the club.
Hale is (as previously mentioned) a huge favourite of this website and I am 100% convinced that he will be doing the right things for this club. Something more egotistical managers of the past might not have been so quick to do.
In Hutchie we have the managerial dream team, but do we have the fans to keep patience with the team and let them develop? Probably not, but I am ignoring the moaning minority nowadays.
My challenge on the clubs message board has yet to be met. Whoemever this person is who posts bile and hatred against the clubs owners on the Echo website has still not taken up my offer to have their say on the blog. So come on ASBO Chickerell get in touch.
It remains in force. Tell me what you know is wrong/underhand/mismanaged at the club and I will publish it. I will take the risk of a lawsuit and you will keep your annonymity.
I wont be holding my breath though...
Someone has been posing a more positive question about the likely design of next seasons home kit. I have managed to get some titbits and what I can say is we are looking to be retro in our styling next season and we should be seeing that soon.
All the best matey, hope to see TerrasBlog rise from the camphor again one day.
