Happy Friday readers!
Been a long week hasn't it? first one back after Christmas and all. The week has been made even longer by nothing happening with regards to Weymouth FC once Lee Phillips had signed and Scott Doe said no to Farnborough.
The York match fell foul of the weather on Tuesday and I was left kicking my heels for content on the BlogCast. David Laws still hasn't agreed to an interview so we decided it best to have a midseason break.
So for this week only the BlogCast is about a visible as the blue away kit in the club shop...
At least we should have a match to look forward to this weekend. I am closer than most to Histon and the weather up here feels a lot milder this morning compared to recent days. And it's not like the ball gets anywhere near the grass when they play anyway.
I dont want to go over old ground, but I hate Histon and I hope that we beat them heavily. I suspect though that if we get back on the bus and head back down the A1 or A14 (depending on coach driver) with a point. Alan Lewer Lua will be a delighted little chap. And I will be too!
The Manager has gone on record this week as saying there is plenty more transfer activity likely at the Wessex over the next few weeks. More out than in I suspect, but we used the loan system to our advantage last season and I would hope we could stave off the thread of relegation in that way again this campaign.
Is Chris Blackburn getting a game at Aldershot?
Thanks so far for you entries to the latest competition. We will be publishing some of the best efforts on the site as we get near to the closing date.
