A shocking week. After now both of us being ill, we have lost one of our family pets today so it is a sombre TerrasBlog towers.
A bit to catch up on with the 2-3 defeat to Southampton the other night. I suppose a lot can be said for pre-season friendlies not being the be all and end all and we certainly haven't had great seasons on the back of result filled July's.
The internet is full of rumours tonight that Scott Doe could have been sold to Stevenage Borough. I hope its not true as he has been one of the few shining lights in recent times.
Having said that £25k is good money and JHMBE certainly knows what he is doing.
On to tomorrow night and we will be beating Bristol City 6-0... hopefully, I need some cheering up right now.

The Weymouth FC official website has broken the story that Stephen Reed has joined the club on a permanent basis from Cambridge United after a loan spell at the Wessex Stadium last season.
Reed is described as a utility player (but I have to shamefully admit I don't ever remember seeing him play!). Still welcome aboard Reedy, I hope you have a trophy laden stay at our club.
Tonight sees Weymouth meeting Championship (just) side Southampton. Reports earlier in the day suggest the team from just east up the Solent would be fielding a resaonably strong outfit and as I understand it Jhon Viafara and Jason Euell are playing.
It will be interesting to see how we get on, as we seem to do better against stronger opposition (hence why we lost to that shower from over the Ridgeway).
Report tomorrow...
