Sir Alex Ferguson wants Manchester United to improve their record at Stamford Bridge.
"We would like to improve our record there. It's not been that great in the last few years. We've had a couple of draws but nothing more than that. We hope to improve on that."
"It's strange, we used to have a terrific record at Stamford Bridge, but in the last few years we've let it slip. We have to get our act together."
"It is not going to be easy for either team. It will be tough. At moments it will be intense and feisty but there are so many good players on the pitch you are expecting some moments of terrific play. I am sure we will get that."
And he is convinced United defenders will respond to the challenge Chelsea will undoubtedly pose.
"We won't be as open as we were on Tuesday. In a way, we experimented a little bit and it didn't particularly work. But in saying that, by being so open we've created 10-12 chances in the match. It's the devil and deep blue seas sometimes. We were open because of it and we won't be as open on Sunday I hope."
"But I know we are capable of getting back to the form we showed last season because we are a team with great ability."
"You have to look at the number of goals scored in the Premier League this season as opposed to the previous season. It's the most there's been, maybe we are just in one of these unusual seasons."
On the other hand, Sir Alex also declares that the title race is still open.
"It doesn't come into my thinking that Chelsea v United is a league decider. But it could be an important game."
"Towards the end of the season, you might think, 'I'm glad we got a result at Chelsea'. But it's difficult to pinpoint the importance of Sunday in relation to where we'll be in May."
The Premier League does not settle until all the internationals are over. Once we get over this next bout of internationals we will probably see a truer league."
