Anorthosis cruises to victory as punishes Panathinaios FC for being numb and unable revive after the own goal of center back Sariegi.
Panathinaikos'defence was a big qustion mark from the start of the season, as the team didn't get a defender not only who is classy as Gilberto Silva, but not at all.
Coach Ten Cate is clearly searching for the right combination using in 9 matches 6 different faces, and still is unable finding the right formula.
From yesterday's green shipwreckonly survived three, Yannis Goumas, Gilberto Silva and scorer Dimitris Salpingidis.
This match was the first Greek-Cypriot encounter, giving Anorthosis' their maiden victory in the Uefa Champions League!

The first encounter between PAOK FC and Aris FC, begun - sadly - out of the pitch. Some hardcore fans attacked each other, sending a 20 year old at the hospital.
The game is a classical for the second bigger city of Greece, and as always is eagerly awaited by the whole greek football society.
In team news now, PAOK will miss Sergio Conceicao who suffers an injury from his team's last training and his replacement will be Vassilis Lakis.
Aris' players had some visitors in their last training. Hundreds of fans gathered to psych the team up, telling them among others : Play for us, for the team, for yourselves. Show some passion. We want you to bleed in the field and win!
The game will be held on Sunday.

Panathinaikos' wonderboy Sotiris Ninis signed his new four years lenghed contract for his team, becoming the most well paid youth in Greece.
His earnings will be a about 400.000 euros for each year, with a relese clause of 10 million euros for an offer from abroad, and a 15 million euros relese clause for a greek team.
The young player told the reporters that this new contract will help him psychologicaly, commenting that his dream continues.
New contracts will be soon called to sign two other prommising troops, midfielder Alexandros Tziolis and all around defender Loukas Vyntra.
